Lost

Chapter 1

I walked into my new house, it wasn't too bad...by that I mean it is bigger than my old house. I looked around. It was spotless, it kinda looked like nobody lives here. There's no sign of life here. Suddenly a tall, beautiful women walked out of a doorway.

"Oh! You must be Beccalyn!!!" She smiled than walked to the doorway. "Harry get down here!" I heard a 'coming dear' and then footsteps. I rolled my eyes.

"Can I please just go to my room?" Her smile dropped a little bit, but it was back up in a couple of seconds.

"Of course! Here follow me." 

She walked towards the set of stairs and started to go up them, every now and then she would look behind her to make sure I was following. I just ignored the looks she was giving me. My guard was following behind me, silently. When we got to my room, I smiled. It was beautiful. 

The room was a deep shade of green, with a dark wood trim all the was around my room. I decided to walk in further. I open one of the doors in my new room and saw a walk in closet with clothes already in it. It had a whole wall covered in shoes. I just shook my head and walked across the room to the other door. 

When I opened the door, I smiled. A really big smile. I had my own bathroom! How exciting! That meant I didn't have to share with anyone, back home I used to have to share two bathrooms with my five siblings...it was awful. 

The smile dropped from my face when I realized what I had just said. It's not my home anymore, it hasn't been since the incident.

I walked back into the room to see Harry and the lady standing there. "How do you like it?" I looked at the lady.

"Um, it's fine. What's your name?" She blushed.

"Oh forgive me for my rotten manners! My name is Eve. This is Harry my husband. I nodded my head at them.

"Okay, good to know." I looked around my room again.

"Beccalyn." I looked over at her.

"Please just call me Beck." She smiled and nodded her head.

"Okay, sure. Um, we're going to have dinner at the neighbors house tonight, will you please come?" I looked at her.

"Eve, they aren't gonna want me at there house. Not everybody is open to having a felon in their house." She smiled.

"Oh, they're this really nice old couple, probably in their seventies, but they asked to meet you." I looked back at her and shrugged.

"Fine, whatever." She smiled.

"Great! Well, we'll be leaving in a couple of minutes. Oh and Nathan said he would be back in the morning at 7:30. So I can wake you up at 6:00 if you would like." I smiled and got up.

"Sure, that would be great. Um, we have to go to the dinner, right?" Her eyes went wide.

"Oh! Right! Let's go!" I smiled and shook my head.

Maybe living here won't be too bad...
