Bryant's POV
I ran out to my truck as soon as I hung up the phone why because I'd do anything for Katie I had been in love with her so long that putting her first came easy to me and the need to be with her hold her in comfort was overwhelming.
I'm pretty sure I broke every driving law there is to get to Katie's house and when I did I walked right in without knocking running up to Katie's room I needed her to be okay because a world without her in it is a world I didn't want to live in.I walked in to find my girl sobbing curled into herself and I did what I'd been longing to do since the day I set eyes on her I took her in my arms and held her close.
Katie's POV
I was a mess curled into myself sobbing uncontrollably when I heard the front door open and shut and then I was wrapped in warm, strong comforting arms I curled into his warmth and allowed myself to be calm I felt my body lull back to sleep in the safety of his arms and I knew if I didn't say it now I would chicken out. I pressed a sweet gentle kiss to his cheek and whispered the words in his ear Bryant I love you.
