Lucy's P.O.V.

The dawn was coming but my body was weary and as my head pondered all the curious things I just heard after a while exhaustion took over me and I fell asleep right under the giant tree. When I woke up I wasn't alone.

Of all the things that had gone extinct sadly snoring wasn't one of them and that's exactly what Monaggan was doing. He was wearing something that looked like black boxers. That was all that he was wearing. His body was still covered with blood, his own and vorkha's, maybe even that of his friends. He had wounds and cuts and bruises all over him. His mouth were covered with black smoky traces and he really looked worn out and hurt. It was impossible to be afraid of him while he was sleeping. Yes he still looked like the big threatening giant he was but I wasn't a fool. He may have been a bit rough on me yet all he ever tried to do was to protect me and keep me safe which is more than I could say for anyone else in my life, ever.

Come to think of it he saved my life more than once. I should be grateful to him instead of jumping at his throat all the time. I wanted to do something to repay him so I went into the bathroom or the cleanlone room as he called it and brought something with me that could only be a clean towel and a clay pot filled with warm water in it. Slowly and gently, careful not to wake him I washed away the blood and the sweat from his body, cleaning his wounds and washing away the soot from around his mouth. I never noticed how lush and full his lips were. They were had almost erotic looking curves that did appear rather inviting. Monaggan mumbled something in his sleep and I froze immediately afraid that he would catch me looking at him like that and believe me I was definitely eying him in a way that I probably shouldn't. He turned around which was good because I could now clean his back that really looked like they've been through hell. To say that I wasn't turned on by caressing his bare skin with a wet towel would be a rotten lie. Thankfully he was sleeping or I knew I'd be in trouble because the big oaf would have probably mlade me speak all my dirty thoughts out-loud. In my defense the man was practically all muscles and testosterone. What woman could resist that? It's just natural physical attraction, that's all. Nothing serious, really.

When I was done cleaning Monaggan, I went into the bathroom to wash the towel and empty the clay pot. I didn't really know what to do afterwards and I was unsure whether it was safe to go outside so I went into the inner garden. I was really hungry but sadly there were no ullis growing in the inner garden. I didn't know what other fruits were safe to eat. I thought about experimenting but I didn't feel like poisoning myself. I decided to wait and see if Monaggan will remember to feed his new pet when he wakes up. Speaking of pets, a weird looking creature approached me in the inner garden. It was dark red with white stripes on it's back and it looked like it was a crossbread betwean a tiger and a dragon. It walked on all fours and it had a very long sharp looking tail. It's eyes were big and reptillian like and it looked quiet threatening but the very first thing it did was to walk straight up to me and try to cuddle while softly purring at the same time.

When I realised that the creature didn't see me as breakfast I gently said to it: "Hello there, sweety. What's your name?"

"His name is Riva and he's a borlion."

I jumped up like a cat on hot bricks hearing Monaggan's deep voice behind me.

He was standing right next to me still in those way too provocative boxers of his. How the hell he managed to creep up to me like that I'll never know. Riva on the other hand just walked past me, stroking himself against Monaggan's leg and heading deeper into the beautiful garden.

"You took care of me while I was sleeping?" he said that in such a weird sounding voice that I was quite unsure whether he approved or disapproved of what I did.
