"Ow Ow Ow! Ok! Rikiya, I get it! You can let go now!" Ken exclaims in pain. I stifle a laugh as I let go of his arm.
"Haha, sorry Ken," I apologize as I lend him my hand and help him up. He grumbles as he brushes himself off and glares at me. I stick my tongue out at him in response. After a long day of training, all of us knights decided to goof around a little bit. Gaia had to go inside the palace, so he left Lute in charge. Poor Lute. Nobody is listening or cooperating with him, myself included. It's been another good week. Rin, Clover, and I have gotten over our nosebleed moment. We've stopped avoiding Lute, Haku, and Shion.
"That wasn't funny. That hurt," Ken states as he rubs his arm in pain. I roll my eyes and hit his arm lightly. "Ow! Really? Right in the spot where it hurts?!"
"I barely touched you!" I protest in disbelief as I throw my hands up in the air.
"It's sensitive though," Ken complains as sighs and sits on a bench. I sigh in response as I sit beside him. "So, no one has found out yet, right?"
"Clover knows and Rin found out," I respond with a sigh as I look away. He's going to yell at me, I know it.
"Rin as in the princess?!" He asks loudly as his eyes go wide. My eyes widen at how loud his voice is.
"Ken! Shut up!" I shout as I clamp my hand over his mouth. The other knights glance over at us with questioning looks.
"What about the princess?" Shion asks curiously and worriedly.
"Nothing at all," I reply as I give him a fake smile, "Right Ken?" I quickly let go of Ken's mouth. He gives me an apologetic look.
"Uh, right, yeah, we were just.....," Ken starts, but then trails off for a moment as if he is trying to come up with a lie, "Rikiya was just saying that sh- he really likes Rin, the princess." My eyes go wide at this. Ken! You- gah! Must I do everything myself?! I notice Shion's eyes widen at this.
"No! You idiot!" I exclaim as I smack Ken over the head. He groans in pain and rubs his head while giving me a glare. I glance at Shion to see him a somewhat firm look on his face. "Hehe, my brother always cracking jokes." Shion looks at me with a serious expression before it becomes sad. He turns around and walks off. Well, that was weird. Once he's gone, I glance at Ken and scowl at him. He gives me an apologetic look. I roll my eyes and sigh. "Yes, Rin knows, but she actually knew from the start."
"Huh?" Ken asks in confusion and curiosity. I quickly explain to Ken how Rin knew that I was a girl. By the end, he nods in understanding. "Ah~, no wonder Lunar isn't fond of anyone else." I nod back in response as I stare off towards the other knights.
"Everyone, can you all please settle down?" Lute asks politely as he tries to separate two knights. Nobody's helping him either. I feel kind of bad if I just sit here and watch. I stand up from the bench and walk over to where the other knights are. Taking a deep breath, I fill my lungs up with air.
"Everyone! Shut up!" I yell at the top of my lungs. At the sound of my booming voice, all the knights fall silent and stare at me in shock. Lute looks at me in surprise. I smile at him. "There ya go Lute." Lute's eyes widen a little bit more before he smiles back at me. As Lute goes to say something, Gaia beats him to it when he returns from the palace.
"Knights!" Gaia hollers as he makes his way over to us. We all turn around in surprise. "Lute, Haku, Shion, and Rikiya! Go to the ballroom. The princess is waiting for you." Rin? I wonder what it is. The four of us nod as we place our weapons away and head towards the palace. "The rest of you, stop goofing off and get back to training!" I hear the rest of the knights groan in annoyance as they all go back to training. The four of us rush inside and into the ballroom.
