(A/N: Alright, so I haven't done Lute's point of view yet. I thought this would be a good time to do his point of view since they will be finding out that Rikiya is actually a girl. Gah! I just told you all what the chapter was about!😱😱 Oh well, you would have read the chapter and found out anyways.😁😁)

❤ Lute's Point Of View ❤

My eyes slowly open as bright light flashes into them. Ugh, I'm in so much pain. I glance around and to my surprise to see everyone there. What happened? I look under the covers to see that I'm all bandaged up. Oh right, a cannon exploded right beside me. I'm surprise I'm still alive right now. As I think about it, the memories begin strolling in. That's right. Rikiya came back and brought me to safety. What he said too. I can't what he said out of my head. It's true though. Being a knight implies camaraderie. He's wise for someone so young and he definitely showed it when he came back to get me. I'll have to thank him. I glance around at all the faces, but my expression drops when I don't see him anywhere.

"Morning there Lute," Haku greets me with a smile, "Good to see you alive." I force a smile back at him as I try to sit up, but I wince in pain and let out a cough. "Whoa, easy there buddy. Don't get up until you're ready." I nod in response as one of the palace doctors come in.

"Ah, I see you are awake Lute," the doctor states as he smiles in content. I nod in response. "I would like to take some tests just to make sure we didn't miss anything." I nod again in response as I glance at the others.

"So, where's Rikiya?" I manage to ask with strained breathing. The others glance at each other in worry for a moment before sighing. "What's wrong? What happened?"

"Rikiya got injured during the battle. You were knocked out quickly after Rikiya brought you to safety, so you didn't see the rest of the battle," Gaia responds in a monotone voice. Rikiya was injured? Oh no. I hope it's not too serious.

"Well, is he going to be ok?" I ask in curiosity and concern. We all gaze at the doctor who stands there looking at his clipboard. When he notices us staring at him he looks up. "Is Rikiya ok?" The doctor glances at us before sighing and approaching the end of my bed.

"Besides Ken, Rikiya was the worst injured," the doctor starts. My eyes slightly widen when I hear Ken's name. Ken got injured too. I mean, it looks like the others just got scratches and scar marks, but nothing too horrible.

"What happened to Ken?" I ask changing the subject. The others glance at each other sighing heavily. Their expressions are sad and depressed. "Guys, please tell me."

"Lute, Ken is dead," Rin says with a sad look. My eyes widen even more at this. Ken is dead?! No, he can't be. "He died saving Rikiya." Of course, the bond between siblings is so strong that one sibling will die to save the other. Poor Ken. I'm going to miss him a lot. I sigh as I look off to the side. I take a deep breath as I sit myself up. I wince in pain, but I manage to sit up.

"How's Rikiya taking this?" I ask in curiosity. They all glance at each other. I feel like what they are about to say next is going to be really bad. I brace myself for whatever they're about to say next.

"Rikiya got stabbed by Clover's fake parents. The wound is apparently pretty bad," Clover replies as she looks away. She looks like she's about to cry. Both her and Rin look like they're about to cry. So, Rikiya got stabbed. I hope he pulls through. "But before Rikiya was stabbed she took it pretty badly." She? Why are we suddenly calling Rikiya a she?

"Yes, it was quite heartbreaking to watch," Shion comments with a pain expression in remembrance. Didn't Rikiya also lose his parents? My god, he's lost his whole family.

"Ah, good, Lute, you are awake," the king says with a sigh of relief as he comes into the room, "How are you feeling my boy?"

"Better," I answer with a smile. He nods back in response.
