Well, it's been another week and I'm back to where I was before the battle. Me and Lute are also a couple now. He's a pretty good boyfriend and he treats me like a princess even though I'm not one. He's what I've always wanted for a boyfriend really. He's super sweet, he's caring, he's understanding, he's funny, and I've noticed recently that he can be quite possessive too. I guess, in a way, every girl wants their boyfriend to be protective of them, but this is my first time having a boyfriend and I had no idea what to do. He kept glaring at the other knights, but in the end I ended up kissing him to take his mind off the others.
"Rikiya," Rin says interrupting me from my thoughts. I shake my head as I glance up at her with a questioning look. "You were gazing off into the distance."
"Sorry, I was just thinking," I respond with a shrug as I place my sword back on the rack. We had early morning practice as usual and then afternoon practice. We just finished our afternoon practice.
"What about, pray tell?" Clover asks as she approaches us and places her bow and bag of arrows next to the sword rack.
"I was just thinking about the time when Lute got really possessive and then I started freaking out because I had no idea what I was supposed to do," I explain with a giggle in remembrance. I giggle along with me.
"Oh my god, that was hilarious," Clover comments as she giggles away.
"Yeah, I loved his reaction too when you just kissed him," Rin adds as she stifles a laugh, "He looked like he'd just seen a ghost." Haha, I remember that too.
"What are you girls giggling about?" Haku asks as he, Shion, and Lute approach us. When we see Lute, the three of us glance at each other before bursting into laughter. "Uh.... did we do something funny?"
"Haha, no, we were just talking about how funny it was when Lute got super jealous over the fact that the other knights were flirting with Rikiya," Clover answers as she tries to hold in her laughter. It's true though. Ever since the other knights found out that I was a girl they've all been flirting with me. I don't know if it's to annoy Lute or maybe it's to annoy me. Who knows. They've also been flirting quite a lot with Rin and Clover. I remember the first time that Shion and Haku got extremely jealous when the other knights started flirting with Rin and Clover. I swear, they threatened to punch the living shit out of the other knights if they didn't stop.
"She's my girlfriend!" Lute protests as he blushes from embarrassment, "They shouldn't have been flirting with her and when they knew that she was already mine!" I can see a slight pout tug at Lute's lips. Aw, how cute. I gush at the sight.
"Haha, alright, we'll stop teasing you," I speak as I send him a wink. He smiles back at me in thanks.
"So, the three of us thought that it was about time that we take you three on dates," Haku announces with mischievous look. Go on dates with them tonight?! The three of us glance at each other in surprise.
"Uh..... um....," I start, but then trail off when nothing comes to mind.
"What kind of a response is that?" Shion asks with a laugh. Oh, shut it Shion. Rin and Clover glance at me with excited smiles on their faces.
"Yes, we'll go, right Rikiya?" Clover asks as she nudges me. I simply nod in response.
"Great, wear something cute and we'll come pick you three up around 5:00," Haku voices with a satisfied grin. Rin and Clover squeal with excitement as they take both of my arms and pull me along. I glance back slightly at Lute, who's silently watching me leave with a gentle smile on his handsome face. They pull all the way into their room and shut the door.
"Finally, we're going on dates with them," Clover states as she shakes her head disapproving, "I can't believe it took them this long to ask us."
"Well, maybe they were waiting for the right moment," Rin suggests. Clover shrugs in response. "Anyways, I'm so excited!" Clover and Rin begin to jump around happily. I know I should be just as excited that Lute wants to go on a date with me, but I can't help but feel a bit uneasy about the whole thing. I mean, I've never dated anyone until recently and I've never been on a date. I can't help but feel like something is going to go wrong. I guess, Rin and Clover noticed my uneasiness because they look at me with concerned expressions. "You ok Rikiya?"
