Chapter 32: grumpy grannies

Elena sighed as Bruce and Alfred walked up to her. "Are you hurt?",Bruce asked nervously and he bent down and held her arms. "Physically? No. Mentally? That's another story",Elena answered and chuckled. "well it's normal to be in shock after such a situation but don't worry,
that summers boy won't ever touch you again.",Bruce reassured Elena. "Next time I see him he's gonna get a sucker punch from me",Elena sighed angrily. "You won't see him again, I made a few calls and he's been expelled.",Bruce said.

Elena felt the relief hit her. "Seriously?",she said in relief . "It had to be done, now Elena by any chance do you remember who saved you?was it batman?",he needed to know. "It all happened so fast but they could fly and had crazy strength",Elena knew it was Wonder Woman but didn't say.

That's all Bruce needed to know. "They need to be thanked.",Bruce said calmly he was grateful they saved her but what the hell were they doing in Gotham?. Damian sat into the car first and Tim being a gentleman let Elena sit in before him and Elena thanked him and Damian mumbled angrily in Arabic.

The car ride wasn't bad to begin with Tim and Elena chatted but Damian struggled talking to them making him feel a little left out.

Bruce was on his phone and Alfred was driving. "I find maths boring to be honest", Elena continued. "I find all the subjects boring",Tim sighed. "Of course you find them boring drake your the definition of boring",Damian couldn't help himself. "Oh I'm sorry I wasn't taught to paint like da Vinci at the age of eight but hey at least I can tie my shoelaces",Tim said knowing Damian weakness.

Damian looked at him offended and embarrassed. "The string is too long that's why they keep becoming untied",Damian said defensive. "Guys..",Elena sighed as she realised they were fighting over shoelaces.

They didn't even hear her. "Why don't you just cut the string to make it shorter then??",Tim said frustrated. "But then the string would be ruined.",Damian said crossing his arms."then knot the ends of the laces", Tim said angrily.

Damian looked at him as if he was mad. "Well then the sting would be too short for me to tie my laces with.",Damian said stating the obvious.

Elena facepalmed during the deadly silence. Tims eye twitched with fury. "That's it I'm gonna kill you",Tim said reaching for Damian across Elena. Bruce sighed as the boys swore at each other.

Damian kicked Tim across Elena. Elena sat there untouched because the 2 boys knew Bruce would kill them entirely if she was caught up in their feud. The bickering continued and Bruce tried to ignore it until it got out of hand. The whacked each other and pulled and dragged at each other until Tim had enough. He sucker punched Damian so hard into the head that Tim made his knuckles bleed.
Damian spat blood and touched he his head, it was bleeding. Now Damian was angry. He went for Tim but Elena stopped him. "Ooookay I think that's enough",she smiled but made it noticeable that she wasn't joking around.

Damian retreated and looked at her embarrassed after realising what he'd been doing in front of her. "Sorry",he said and wiped the blood away from his mouth. "It's fine",Elena said taking a tissue from her pocket and handed it to him. "What I need this for ?",he asked confused. "Your head is bleeding",she pointed at the side of his head.

"Oh",Damian said putting the tissue to it. Elena turned to Tim who was looking at his busted knuckles.

Bruce growled. "I swear to god you two are lucky we are on a highway in the middle of traffic, when this car stops you are both gonna be in huge trouble",he said trying to keep his voice from booming. "Ms. Elena the first aid kit is in the left side pocket , would you be a dear and patch up master Tim's hand for him?",Alfred looked in his mirror. "Yeah sure",she smiled reaching for the first aid kit. Within a few minutes she had Tim's hand wrapped up.
