Chapter 24: all fun and games till someone loses an eye.

The doors swung open. Commissioner Gordon at the other side holding a gun. All the doors swung open and the police force swarmed in. The swat team coming in from the backstage. "Everyone Freeze put your hands in the air",Gordon shouted. There were screams of panic. Damian held Elena tightly.

"Damn it",Bruce said angrily. Everyone cooperated until the police found what they were looking for. "John Franklin you are under arrest as you have been found guilty of supplying deadly chemicals to the criminal known as the joker under the good name of Wayne enterprises.",gordon shouted as he hand cuffed John and his wife.

Everyone was shocked. John tried to explain himself but it was no good. He saw Bruce. "Bruce! Tell them I'm innocent! Please! I've been framed! I would never do such a thing.",John shouted as the police man pulled him away.
Bruce gave him a cold look. "How could you?"John had a cold sweat."you mean to tell me that in return of me saving your company you go and supply the very man that tried to kill my son Jason? The man that killed Jason's mother??."Bruce's voiced boomed."THE VERY MAN WHO HAS  TERRORISED THE PEOPLE OF GOTHAM AND MY FAMILY FOR YEARS?",there was silence. "Get out of my sight",he said coldly. He had silenced John. He had gone white. Probably ashamed.

"Bruce?",dick sad quietly. "You okay?",Tim asked . Bruce took a deep breath. " you can see why I wanted to leave so quickly.",he mumbled to them. Then it hit Damian. Damian had gathered enough information from Harley for Bruce to figure out who has supplied the chemicals. All Bruce had to do was leave an anonymous tip to the GCPD. But John was slippy and stayed in the shadows and Bruce knew Lola would make him come to her concert so this was the GCPDs only chance of catching him.

Lola came running. She was a wreck. "DAD WHATS HAPPENING? DADDY!",she tried to grab him but the policeman stopped her. Lola's mother was crying and shouting. The franklins were dragged away and Lola was left crying on her knees. A circle  of people gathered around her not knowing what to do. She was crying into her hands. Elena felt bad. She walked over to Lola. But Damian grabbed her."Elena I don't think that's a good idea",Damian said concerned." She's just lost her parents she needs to know someone there for her",Elena smiled. Damian didn't want to let go"shes only ever caused her pain please leave her",Elena gave him a reassuring look so he let go . Elena walked over to Lola. "Lola..I'm so sorry..I know we have trouble getting along but I'm here if you need me",Elena said and put her hand on Lola's shoulder. There was silence. Lola stopped crying and then there was silence then she started laughing. Elena was confused. "Lola?",Elena said confused. Lola turned around smiling and violently grabbed Elena and punched Elena in the face. Elena fell back and Lola charged at her this time scratching Elena. Lola went to hit Elena again when Damian grabbed Lola's hand. Elena backed up in fear and Jason and Diana grabbed her and Bruce and Clark looked at each other. "You won't touch her ever again.",Damian said emotionlessly. Lola looked up at him her hair was a mess and there was a look of crazy in her eyes. "Let go of me "she said yanking her arm from him and she stood up and spat at Elena."this is all your fault and one day I'm going to make remember that",she said pointing at Elena. Jon was now angry. He went to run at Lola but Damian grabbed him. "You will get your chance to punch her Jon I'll make sure of it but right now drop it",Damian said holding back his own fists. Lola walked out of the concert hall not even looking back.
Attention was turned back to Elena. Lola had been wearing gloves with real sharp diamond on them and had scratched and punched Elena with them still on. Her nose was gushing blood and out of all the places Lola could have scratched her she had got her in the eye...Damian turned around to see Barry investigating it. He had a medical degree. "Can you open it?",Barry said. Elena just shook her head. "It's a small scratch I'm fine!",she said trying to be positive. "Elena I'm not a medical expert but that's more then a little scratch",dick said handing her a cloth for her nose. "I'll call your parents",Alfred said and Elena became panicked."oh don't bother! They are super busy at the moment",she said trying to convince him not to contact them. Everyone looked at each other Diana looked at Elena she could see Elena was an optimist and she was strong and was doing everything in her power to not look weak in this situation and Diana could see Elena was in pain.Damian knelt down beside her and took the cloth and was trying to dampen the blood the was coming from where Lola had broken Elena's nose. Barry looked up at Bruce. "She needs to go the hospital Bruce it's not looking good",Barry said shaking his head."she got her near the pupil.",Barry said. Bruce knew what that ment. She could go blind. "Right Alfred get the car out front we're taking Elena to the hospital.",Bruce said. Alfred nodded and ran off. Elena's face was covered in blood."I'm fine seriously!",Elena said nervously her voice was cracking trying to keep in her tears. Damian helped her up. "Your not fine Elena come on we're taking you to the hospital",Damian said trying to make her see how bad she was hurt. "Dick ,Tim ,Stephanie and Jason I want stats on what just happened and I need a location on Lola Franklin by the time I get back from the hospital.",Bruce said pointing at them. They nodded. They knew exactly what he ment."Clark publish this story on the front cover  I need people to know that it was franklin supplying the chemicals not Wayne enterprices",Bruce said to Clark. Clark nodded. Outside the concert hall the paparazzi had gathered."shit..",Damian said. Elena was over whelmed by it. People were shouting at her to know what had happened to her and every second flashes of cameras blinded her already poor vision. Damian tried to stop them but even he became over whelmed. Bruce and selina tried to block the 2 kids from the camera views. But it was to much. They bundled into the car and Alfred drove off.

Okay so I wanted to have this chapter up because I have exams this week so I can't write so the next update won't be until next Friday at least. Btw for anyone who isn't up to date with the current comics. That character Jon is an official character he's good friends with Damian. (Well going to be friends eventually they are going through a rough patch at the moment) he's supermans son. So yeah tbh this is probably my favourite chapter so far.
