"Left",Diana commanded.
A bolt of energy flew left.
"Right",Diana commanded.
A bolt of energy flew right.
"Shields",she commanded.
Elena held up her shield." dliehS a eriuqer ni dleifelttab eht no dnats I sA ",she chanted quickly. A transparent purple force field went around her and her shield. This gave her extra protection.
"Well done",Diana nodded. "Since you don't have a pair of bracelets like mine you must rely on that shielding technique we came up with.",Diana reminded her.
Elena put her shield back on her back. "Next?",she asked.
"Rest",Diana answered. "You need rest as much as you need training",Diana told her.
Elena took a frustrated deep breath.
"But-",Elena's stubbornness spoke. Wonder Woman looked at her with a'don't fight me on this one 'kind of look.
"Understood",Elena cracked up inside and put her sword down.
"How's she doing?",Bruce folded his arms.
"Shes acting strange, very unlike her",Diana replied.
"Well she literally has the weight of the world on her shoulders who can blame her?",Bruce found that unsurprising.
The two stood on the watchtower looking down at earth. The watchtower was quiet.
"She's says that entire planet will go dark..millions of people will die if she doesn't do this",Diana stared out at the big blueberry with green flecks "She mentioned that",Bruce said.
"She also said that we can't do anything to stop it",Diana added. "She mentioned that too",Bruce sighed.
"Maybe we can't get involved in the actual fight but we can help the people, we can prepare them",Bruce looked at Diana.
"Yes of course, we should hold a meeting of all the heroes we can get our hands on, spread the word and send out an official document to each police station and each defence force stating our plan",Diana implied.
Bruce kept staring out at space.
He spoke up.
"She's just a child, she's lost so much recently",he kept his eyes fixed. "Did she run because she had to or did she run because she wanted to?",he asked.
"We've been over this Bruce, if she had stayed any longer you would not be standing here right now, she saved you and your family",Diana kept telling him.
"I know,but I wished their was some way I could have helped her",Bruce admitted. "You did help her, you gave her brother a home and more importantly you gave them both a family, that is more then I could have ever given her",Diana smiled.
"And yet Damian was the only one who treated her as family during her stay",he sighed, referencing Stephanie's outburst. "She's a tough kid",Bruce admitted.
"We all have our demons, they are what make us stronger, especially Elena",Diana put her hand on his shoulder.
"Speaking of the boy, How's Damian taking this whole thing?",Diana asked.
Diana felt Bruce stiffen slightly. That was not normal.
Bruce didn't answer.
