Today was Damian's last violin class before the Summer.
When the last of the kids started to leave he said goodbye and told them to keep practicing.
Elena came to pick up her little brother Sam.

She took him by the hand and told Sam to thank Damian for teaching him so much this year. So they walked up to Damian and Sam tugged Damian's shirt.
Damian turned around and looked surprised to see Elena looking at him. She had her hair tied up in a ponytail which wasn't anything out of the ordinary, the only time he had seen it down was at the music competition.
"Sam what do you say to Damian?",Elena said looking down at Sam.
Sam smiled and shouted "thank you Damian for teaching me!"
Damian smiled at the over enthusiasm,"it was my pleasure Sam, I hope you'll be back in September but could I talk to you sister for just a second?",he asked. Elena looked alarmed by this.
Sam nodded and ran off to the playground at the front of the school.
" You have 5 minutes",Elena said looking at Sam getting onto a swing.
"Look-",he started and hesitated.
"Why are you avoiding me?"

It began raining.
Elena looked away. "You know nothing Damian and if you knew Lola like I did, you wouldn't be talking to me",she had a dark gaze under blue eyes as if she was remembering something she had spent years avoiding.
"I don't even know what happened between you two, Lola never talks about it, it must have been harsh."he said.
"I see the way she treats you Damian, controlling, manipulative, spiteful. All I did was stand up to her and she took me down for that."she said quietly.

Damian looked at her and all he could see was unsealed scars and sadness.
"Tell me what happened",he said sternly.
She sighed.
"It's in the past I need to move forward from Lola-"
"Please Elena."Damian never used that word.
Please
"Meet me at Cafe Noir on Scarlet Street at 11:30 sharp tomorrow morning if you're not there, I'm not giving you another chance "she said.
Damian nodded.
"See you 11 then."he winked
She smiled as she put her hood up and walked away leaving Damian more curious then before.
