When I woke up, it was still dark, my eyes still felt droopy but I felt someone watching us, I turned on the bed lazily, and was met by Jeffs sleeping form, I slightly smiled, but sighed as I shook him awake gently, he stirred a little before waking up. His eyes were puffy from lack of.sleep. Then I realized that didn't make since...we must have slept for a long time, but it's dark as hell outside, and we are still tired, as if we didn't sleep at all.
He kept his eyes on me, starring directly at me, I shut my eyes, resting them, after a second, I felt him trail his fingers down my jaw line softly. I opened my eyes and smiled softly, then spoke, my voice cracking a little, "I know you probably don't want to get up, but we need to," he smiled, "You're right i don't want to get up," I giggled, and pushed his shoulder gently, "Get up," he sighed before pulling me closer to him, snuggling his face in my neck, I smiled softly to myself when he sighed with a " Fine," and got up slowly, I followed suit and looked around, standing quickly putting my bag around me, and peaking outside, it was almost pitch black, we started walking on the small path we were on yesterday. The path was hard to see due to the darkness. We quietly walked, trying to here things that might be something moving in the darkness, while walking we saw a shadowed thing a little ways away. When we made it to the mysterious structure, we realized it was a Crashed.train. My muscles became numb at the sight of the dead bodies strewn about, blood painted the train like a canvas. We walked to an opening of two carts and tried to walk through it but something caught my eye in one of the carts, I turned my head to be face to face with the translucent female, she stood next to a body that looked exactly like her. I grabbed Jeff's arm and showed him, we walked very cautiously to the body, there in her hand was a cross I'd never seen before

As I pried it from her hands and examimed it, Jeff searched the train.
It took me a minute to remove the cross but finally got it out. I looked around and noticed that Jeff was nowhere to be found, I walked around and stepped over bodies to different parts of the train, when I got to the last car, I found what i was least expecting, the female figure was hypnotizing Jeff with a glow that came from her eyes, I quickly run to him and grab him by the shoulder turning him around. His eyes were pitch black no whites to be seen. I looked around to find that the female was gone, I quickly grabbed him by the wrist and and drag him out of the train and far away from it, It was still dark outside which made it hard to see, I made it back to the shack and looked around the open area, noone was in sight, I turned to Jeff, his mind was gone, his eyes were still black, I couldn't tell if he could see me or not.
I walked forward and grabbed his shoulders, he didn't flinch, I shook him slightly but it didn't effect him, He still starred into whatever he was seeing that I was completely oblivious to. My eyes started to brim with tears, I grabbed his hand slowly, Instead his usually warm hand I was met with a.cold one, I looked up at his face again, wondering what I should do, but as soon as I was about to look away again, his voice stopped me, "Mara..," he croaked, I tightened my grip on his hand, "Jeff please come back to me, I know you're in there please," he still didn't move, Tears start falling down my face I grabbed both of his hands, and stare down at my shoes. And hum to myself, trying to calm my nevers, But at some point my nerves get the best of me, and I break down in a sob, I bring him inside the shack and sit him down his eyes resting on the wall above my head as I kneeled infront of him, his hands became slightly warmer, I smiled up at him softly, "I'm not giving up on you...I'm staying right here," his grip tightened on my hands a little at my words. Maybe if i just keep talking to him, I thought to myself, so I looked up at him again, "Remember that day in class when me and Ade came on a skateboard, and you scolded us for doing it because we almost hit the piano?, and then after class you smiled at us and told us next time just do it in the hall because your piano was sacred to you" i giggled at the thought, "Or remember when we had that karaoke night and me and Ade sang Can You Feel The Love Tonight from lion king, you couldn't stop laughing because of the fact that we acted out the scene.," he.looked down slowly at me, a smirk playing at his lips. I smiled softly , " Remember the first day we met, You mispronounced mine and Ades name so many times, we would act so offended, and you would tell us you were sorry everyday," all of a sudden he looked around quickly his head jerking to opposite sides then a screech came from his mouth causing me to cover my ears and cower away from him. Then all of a sudden the light outside flicked on like a light. And Jeff came into a coughing fit on his knees, I ran to him quickly and hugged him with all my strength, lightly crying, he pushed me off softly, "Mara what happened I don't remember anything," at the moment I couldn't talk, I was crying and my mind wasn't all there. He wiped my tears away and pulled me back into a hug. My grip on his shirt tightened, as i whispered, "They took you from me, I thought you were gone. You didn't move, you wouldn't talk, your hands turned cold, your eyes were black, I thought you were gone...," his grip tightened on me, "How did you get me back...?" I sniffled, "I kept talking to you...the real you, I told memories that I remember with you," he nodded " Thank you Mara, Thank you for not giving up on me," I shook me head as held onto him , "Never..,"
