After awhile, My eyes started getting heavy, I guess that one night of no sleep really took its toll on me, now it's coming back full force, finally after a couple of minutes of fighting with.myself to stay awake, I give up and lay down slowly, falling asleep quickly.
(Time skip)
I had no dreams, It felt like five minutes before I felt something touch my leg, I quickly look up and Find Ade shaking my leg to wake me up, I was about to say something but she motioned for me to be quiet and quickly wake Jeff up. I nodded and turned slightly shaking Jeff slightly causing him to wake up, he sits up, "What's go-" he was cut off by a loud screeching that sounded very close, we all jumped up and gathered our things quickly, putting the fire out while doing so. After gathering our things quickly, we started moving away from the screech, going the complete opposite way. After a minute of walking we started coming up to a clearing, I almost breathed a sigh of relief until Chris stopped, putting his arm out and around Ade in a slightly protective way, I smirked slightly to myself, before trying to see what they see, I slightly tried stepping forward about to look, but Jeff put his arm around the front of my stomach protectively, holding me back, so instead of stepping forward I peeked over everyones shoulder slightly, I silently gasped to myself, there stood a translucent figure, I slightly leaned forward not moving due to Jeffs arm around me, "Maybe we should run?," i whispered, Ade quickly shook her head, "No, Don't. Move." I quickly looked down, holding on to Jeffs arm tightly, his arm tightened around me at my grip, he knew i was slightly scared, so it was very reassuring. After about five minutes, Jeff grabbed my wrist, "Run," with that we all dashed across the clearing to the other side quickly, me tripping acouple times before stopping, after running for a couple minutes. Being I was out of breath I leaned against a tree as did Ade, Chris sitting against a tree, Jeff leaned over, hands on his knees, he coughed, "What. Was. That.," he said through coughs, Chris shrugged, "I have no idea," i then looked up quickly, "Ade why did you tell us not to run?," she shrugged a little nervous, "I-I I dont know It told me not to move so I thought it would be best if we don't," I slightly nodded as I leaned my head backwards a little. After a minute, Chris spoke up, "Welp there's one more thing we have to look out for, we should keep moving," we all nod as we continue moving. It was quiet for a Moment, no one spoke, the tension was a little high, I kept my eyes on the ground most of the time, looking up constantly, making sure I wasnt being left behind. After a little while, the trees started thining, becoming less and less the more we moved on, finally the trees stopped and we came to an almost empty landscape, all that could be really seen at the moment was the train track a little ways away. We looked at each other expectantly, and shrugged as We started moving down the track, begining a new journey, a journey with no trees, and a new foe slowly following us everywhere we go...my main concern is where it came from, and what it wanted.
