    (Maras P.O.V)

It was a simple day. Second week of the second semester of our senior year to be exact. Me and my best friend Adelyne, were in choir at the moment, talking amongst ourselves waiting for Mr. Baine to start class. And I'll admit, I had a slight crush on Mr. Baine

He was very laid back for a choir teacher and it made him very loveable, so it made class a whole lot more enjoyable

He was very laid back for a choir teacher and it made him very loveable, so it made class a whole lot more enjoyable.
Finally after about ten minutes Mr. Baine walked in class and smiled his charming smile, "Good afternoon class! See i know it sucks to be back, I'm sure you guys are tired of looking at my ugly face," the class quickly filled with objections to what he said, he smiled, "Awe you guys missed me? How sweet..." he pouted slightly then got serious, "Now guys, this semester is going to be a little more high strung then last year, I have been searching for The Best pieces for us to do this year, so we can show the district how ready we are, to take on anything that is thrown at us, to be the best that we can be, without anyone telling us otherwise, now, first we must warm up, singing without warming up is a big No No!"
Everyone slightly laughed at his attempt at a joke as we stood and readied ourselves. The class went on normally, given we were in fifth period.
Thirty minutes into rehearsal the lights flickered a bit, Adelyne looked at me confused, I just shrugged it off, she turned around and we continued, about five minutes later the ground slightly shook causing everyone to slightly gasp and look around, Mr. Baine Stood quickly and looked around, he rose his hands, "Okay guys take a seat real quick, I'm gonna check outside to see whats going on," we all nodded and sat back down on the risers and waited quietly, Adelyne scooted next to me and laid her head on my shoulder, "What do you think is going on?" I shook my head, " I don't know, but I want to find out," We both looked up as Mr.Baine walked into the room, "Noone knows what that exactly was, Ms. Alyne thinks it was just a small earthquake," as he sat down on the piano stool, the ground shook again, this time not stopping, causing everyone to panic, I quickly grabbed Ades Hand and ran off towards the door, we looked around with shocked eyes as the ground started separating causing half of the risers and the piano to fall into the ground itself, we heard a grunt as we turned our heads to see Mr. Baine struggling to hold on to the opening, Ade and me quickly ran to his aid and grabbed his arms pulling him up, to tell the truth, he looked scared. The ground started falling again so we quickly got up and started Running, whilst running, we ran into Ades favorite teacher Mr. Caplyn

He was looking around confused, she yelled over everyone's panicking, "Mr

He was looking around confused, she yelled over everyone's panicking, "Mr. Caplyn!" He looked until he found us, he looked at us with terror in his eyes, "What's going on?" We shook our heads, I sighed, "well all I know is that if we don't get out of here we are all history! Let's go!" We finally ran past the cafeteria and out to the football field, everyone in the streets were running rampid, dead bodies strewn about, and with that, we ran for it, we ran for as long as we could until we were far away from the school.

We quickly ran into the nearest store, that happened to be abandoned and grabbed as much as we could and stuffed it in bags, and within thirty minutes or so, we were on the road, away from the past and into a not so bright future.
