Chapter 30 My fight, no, our fight

I had finally got a letter back from my parents, Meadow had snuck out to see Sirius and get the letter fro my parents.

"I hope they understand." I said and looked at Meadow, she nodded and gave a weak smile, I then started opening the letter, they had written the letter on bright pink paper.

Vanessa,

At first we were a bit shocked but, we understand and hopefully this will all be over soon and we can meet our grandchild's father but if he is mortal.. your will have to change him, I'm sorry but it's the rules for the vampire world and we have to follow it for our people

Mom and Dad

"What did it say?" Meadow asked and I set the letter down and looked at her, I was ready to cry, I didn't want to change Fred into a monster.

"I have to change Fred." I said looking at my stomach, Meadow looked at me and then sat down on my bed.

"Well, it is the rules and you have to follow them." She said and I nodded and looked at her and gave a weak smile.

"I should probably go and get Fred." Meadow said and started walking out of the room, I sat on my bed and just thought, I thought about what Fred would say about me being here and what he would do, he probably wouldn't be to happy though.

I heard a knock on the door and got up to open it, it was hard to get up now but I managed to get up and walk to the door, I opened it and George stood in the door way, he smiled and I let him in.

"I'm sorry for freaking out in the common room last night." He said and sat down on thebed next to mine, I sat down on my bed and smiled.

"It's ok." I said and he looked at me with a sad expression

"No, it's not ok.. I shouldn't have freaked out, I mean, it's weird seeing you pregnant." He said staring at my stomach and then looked away.

"Yeah, Fred didn't seem to talk to me after he found out." I said and looked at the ground

"Yeah, well, that's Fred for you." He said and we both laughed, George was so brotherly and really did care.

"Yea, I know that you do really care about me and him." I said and he nodded

I smiled and George got up and sat beside me, he put his hand on my stomach and i smiled

"I'm gonna be an uncle." He said and took his hand off my stomach, he got up from the bed and started walking to the door.

"Thanks for being a good brother, George.. it really means a lot to me." I said and he nodded and walked out of the room, Meadow came in and before George left they looked at each other and shared a kiss.

Meadow walked in and I started giggling, she rolled her eyes and gave me a look.

"What?" She asked and sat down on her bed

"You and George." I said and she rolled her eyes again, Mary and Francesca came into the room, Mary didn't talk to Meadow much anymore, I knew that she was still heart broken about Meadow and George being together.

"How's the baby?" Francesca asked putting her books down and Mary walked into the bathroom and shut the door behind her, something told me that she really didn't want to be around Meadow, Francesca looked at the bathroom door and turned back and rolled her eyes.
