Chapter 40 Back at Hogwarts and cornered

Once we made it to the castle we went back to our rooms and got settled then went to the Gryffindor common room where we talked a bit.

"Wait.. you guys just came back from the burrow and now your going to the vampire world?" George asked with his arms crossed and pouting like a little kid.

"We have to stop Voldemort." Fred said and George rubbed the back of his head

"And we have to keep the twins safe from him.." I started but Ginny stopped me

"But, you guys cant seem to keep them safe." She said and I nodded, she sat down next to Ron and Harry, who seemed to be thinking very hard.

"Yeah, you just cant let him get the key to the vampire world." Meadow said and I nodded, that was something I couldn't let him have.

"So, we should probably focus on that.." I said and Fred nodded

"Wait.. I think I have another idea." Harry said and we all looked at him, he looked up at all of us and got up off the floor.

"I read that to get into vampire world you must be a vampire." He said and looked at me

"But, you also have to be part of the royal vampire family." He then said again and I thought about that for a moment.

"So, what your saying is that we should give the key to him." George said and the way he said it just didn't sound good at all.

"Well, yes.. he probably dosn't know that to get in he has to be royal and to be a vampire." Harry said in a whisper.. I knew why he was whispering too so I picked up my wand and put a spell on the common room so no one could hear us.

"A bit better?" I asked and he nodded

"Do you have the key?" He asked me and I thought about it.. where did I put it anyway?

"Ugh.. yes." I said sorta lieing and he smiled and I looked at everyone else, some looked a bit angry and some looked a bit upset.

"Ok, can you please go and get it." Harry said and I nodded and Fred got up with me

We walked to my dorm room and started looking for the necklace.. but it wasn't in my suit case OR in my drawers or book case.

"Where could it be?" I asked and Fred shrugged

"I.. I couldn't have forgotten it at the burrow.. could I?" I asked and Fred shrugged again.. neither of us knew where it was.

"We can't tell the others.. this is very, very bad." I said and we walked out of the dorm and back up to the common room.. when we walked into the common room Nelly sat on the couch with Meadow and both held one of the twins.

"Where are the Weasley's?" I asked a little worried and Nelly smiled

"They are fine.. they went to a safe place." Nelly said and I walked over to Meadow who was holding Ezra and held him in my arms, it was great to see the twins again.

"Did you find the key?" Harry asked and I had to think of something quick

"Ugh.. it's buried in the pile of clothes." I said and he sighed and nodded

"You left it at the Weasley's didn't you?" Meadow asked and I looked at her.. she's good, he then looked down and nodded.

"I didn't mean to though.. we were in a rush so I kinda forgot that it was there." I said and Harry smiled.. why was he smiling?

"Great, now he can find it and our plan is on the go." He said and I smiled too.. I guess leaving it there was a great idea.

"We should probably start going now." Meadow said and Fred nodded, Meadow looked at me and Fred walked over to me.

"Remember.. get some sleep and make sure you watch.. we may need your help." Meadow said and I nodded, I promised to try and watch for them and make sure they were safe.

"I will miss you." Fred said wrapping his arms around my waist and kissing me, I kissed him back and the two walked out of the common room.. Ezra in my arms and Essence in Nelly's.

"They will be ok." Nelly said walking over.. for some reason I ddin't feel so good about this, I didn't like the idea of not going with them to stop Voldemort.

"We should probably go back to the dorm and put the twins down for a nap." Nelly said and I nodded and we walked out of the common room.. everyone was walking out, George was right beside me watching Ezra.

"I really hope that Meadow and Fred will be ok." He said and I looked up at him and smiled

"Don't worry.. they will, you just have to think positive." I said and George smiled

"Thanks, Vanessa." He said and walked off.. probably to his dorm or something, me and Nelly and some of the other girls walked to the dorm and put the twins down or a nap, Francesca sat in there with Mary and they both hugged me.

"We missed you." They said and I giggled

"I miss you both too." I said and we broke away from each other and all sat on our beds.. Nelly sat on Meadows and looked like she was thinking really hard about something.

"So.. um.. how was the burrow?" Francesca asked.. she seemed to be locking the door or something.. I just stared and started talking.

"It was great.. how was everything here?" I asked and Francesca turned and started walking to her bed.

"Great.. studied hard." She said, by now all three girls were looking at me, this was getting a bit scary

"So.. Vanessa, can you tell us more about that key? Like.. will you show us vampire world?" Mary asked and I looked at her.. why was she asking these questions.

"I.. would rather not." I said and Nelly walked over to me and sat on my bed, she had this pouting looking face going on.

"Please.. I have always wanted to see vampire world." She said and I kinda felt confused for a moment.

"Don't you live in vampire world?" I asked and she shook her head no with an upset looking expression.

"No, the vampires kicked me out." She said and I started thinking hard

"Why?" I asked

"I don't know.. I was minding my own business when they just.. kicked me out." She said and I got up from the bed.

"Well, I'm going to go for a walk and.. think about it." I said and when I turned around Francesca and Mary were at the door blocking my way.

"Umm.. can I please get by you both?" I asked and the two shook their heads, no.. I looked at them both like I didn't know who they were.

"What has gotten into you both?" I asked them and they looked at me and laughed

"Nothing.. we are the same girls that you lived with your entire life.. the same ones that tried to kill you and your parents that banned us from the vampire world." When they said that it all came together.. Mary, Francesca and Nelly wern't who I thought they were.. they were vampires but the evil ones.

I started backing up and looked back to see Nelly walking towards me and the other two walking towards me too.. I got up onto Francesca's bed and they followed me which I pulled out my wand but before I could say anything, Mary took out her wand and pointed it at me.

"Crucio!" She shouted and I fell to the ground in extreme pain.. I had my eyes closed so I couldn't see what was happening or what anyone was doing.
