Chapter 2 - Embarrassing

I'm in my home again.  Kip is looking around worriedly.  I see that he is looking at all the silver.  "It is okay Kip, we will wait till night fall and I can get you back, okay?"  I say comforting him.  He's still in bat form.  I tickle his stomach.  He squeaks slightly.  I stop knowing if guards hear squeaking they will come and bust down the door.  I sit down in my bedroom with him stroking his head gently.  He's fast asleep in my arms only moments later.  'Even though he is a vampire... He looks so peaceful.'  I think before there's banging on my door.   I wake him up.  "I will be there shortly."   I say starting to panic.  "What is happening?"  He asks.  "You need to hide."  I whisper yell.  He turns into a bat and flies up into a corner.  I then quickly make my way over to the door.  I pat myself down making sure I look as neat as possible.  I open the door carefully.  I see a single Royal guard there.  "It is a letter from the Royal Scientist.  He sends his regards."  The guard says passing me the letter.  I take it then quickly turn to shut my door.  My leg starts to hurt and I fall.  I am then caught and my mouth is covered as the door is shut quickly.  Kip is over me.  He let's go of my face.  I start to breathe again.  "Are you okay, Sir?"  He asks.  "I am fine." I say smiling gently.  I pick up the letter and open it.  He's sniffing the air.  I see my hand is scraped.  I cover it worriedly.  He notices me covering my hand. "Did you hurt yourself?"  He asks.  I nod.  He grabs my hand gently.  I panic and close my eyes.  I feel him lick my hand.   "It's funny..."  He laughs.  I open my eyes to see him licking my hand again.  My hand is healed.  "I have never heard of a bleeding skeleton before."  The kid says.  I look outside to see it's getting dark out.   "It is almost night time.  I can get you home soon."  I say gently.  He smiles at me.  

Time skip...

Night has fallen, covering the sky in magnificent gleaming stars.  It is the middle of vampire season, so I have to be cautious.  I sneak from my house and avoid bright spaces.  Kip is in my vest hiding.  "Sir, Encre what are you doing out at this hour?"  I hear making me jump.  I turn to see the vampire from before.  My breathing stops and my mind just tells me to 'RUN!!!'.  I take off running, I'm not screaming just running.  I pass by large amounts of guards and vampire hunters.  I see another bat.  They are looking around hard.  I rush towards them and just grab them.  I put them into my vest.  I hear squeaking.  I see multiple vampire hunters chasing me, they must have seen what I have done.  I run even faster, knowing if they catch me I will be hung for my actions against the crown.  I make it to the forest and keep running till I cannot hear anything or one.  I pause to breathe heavily.  Kip goes back to his Vampire body.  He hugs me.  The other bat comes out and stands not that far away from us.  "Kip... You are not hurt right?"  I ask.  He nods.  We then both look to see Kip's father.  "You saved him... Thank you mortal."  He says going over to Kip.  I back up from them.  'I cannot stay with them... But I cannot go back either.'  I think.  "What is the matter, mortal?"  Kip's father says.  "I'm a traitor to my own kind." I say turning slightly, trying to figure out what to do now.  I hear shouting in the distance.   "You both need to get out of here."  I panic.  "You are coming with us."  Kip's father says.  My eyes widen, but I nod.  We all take off running.   Kip turns into a bat and I catch him.  His father than picks me up and is running.  I have a million questions to ask, but now isn't the time.  Suddenly there are bullets fired off.  Kip's father collapses.  He is bleeding.  "Take Kip and get out of here."  He says. "Turn into a bat, I'll carry you both."  I say getting up.  Kip is in my vest.  I extend a hand down towards him.  He bites into my hand, causing me to fall to my knees.  He let's go of my hand.  "Just go... I will be okay."  He says.  I nod before taking off.  

Me and Kip go through the tunnel.  Vampires all look towards me, as I fall over due to my injured leg.  Kip comes out of my vest.  "Sir..."  He says worriedly.  There's squeaking as quite a few bats come through the cave.  One sets down beside us.  I don't feel like I can move anymore.  Kip is licking my hand to stop the bleeding.  He stops and looks down at me.  I smile feeling my blood flow starting up again.   "Sir!!! You are okay!!!"  He says happily.  I nod.  "Thank you mortal."  Kip's father says.  He helps me up.  Kip is hugging me.

Time skip...

Kip's mother opens the door after hearing knocking.  She sounds happy and delighted.  Me and Kip are drawing in his room.  I'm teaching him how to draw.  "Encre... You have a visitor."  She says in a really good mood.  Kip takes off to go see who it was.  He comes back.  "It is Lord Fallacy!!!"  He shouts excitedly.  I stand up and try to look proper.  Kip helps me before I head down stairs with him on my shoulder.   It was the man I saw the day I woke up.   I try to keep my cool.  Kip squeaks at me.   "Good Evening, Lord Fallacy."  I say quickly bowing my head, like I did in the Royal castle.  "You are from the Royal castle, are you not?"  He asks.  His voice is deep, and dreamy, I almost blush hearing it.   "Yes, Lord Fallacy... I am."  I say.  Kip's mother can see me completely and utterly uncomfortable.  "Lord Fallacy, please come in and have a seat."  Kip's mother says.  I quickly get out of the road.  He comes in and even though there is plenty space he comes over to me and his cape glides over my shoulder.  I'm shaking hard for some reason, before seeing blood just straight blood.   Kip transforms in front of me.  "Encre, calm down... It is alright."  He says.  I am having a horrible time breathing as I go back to normal.  "Encre... Are you alright?"  Kip's mother asks.  Kip leans over  and whispers "He really is breath taking."  I would have laughed but I'm struggling to breathe.  Lord Fallacy comes over and places a hand on my shoulder.  "Encre, it is alright.  You need to focus on breathing."  Kip says holding my face.  I breathe deeply.  "I guess he stole your breath away."  Kip says, before snickering.  My whole face turns into a rainbow.  I cover the rest of my face.  "Kip..."  I say trying to calm my blush.  "Ah! Lord Fallacy!"  Kip says noticing him now.  Kip is blushing bright red.  Lord Fallacy laughs.  It is warm like lemon and honey tea. I am extremely embarrassed, having a panic attack in front of the KING!!! The KING of Vampires.  "Kip..."  I mutter hugging him.  "Just drain me of blood so I die... I'm too embarrassed, to live."  I whisper.  Kip hugs me back and says "No!"  "Kip, come here."  Kip's mother says.  "Encre, care to take a walk with me?"  Lord Fallacy asks.  "Uh... Sure... Lord Fallacy."  I say.  

Time skip...

Me and Lord Fallacy are just walking around when the light outside is becoming extremely dim.  I am extremely relaxed by this.   "Encre, that panic attack you had earlier... It is... Concerning."  Lord Fallacy says.   I don't know how to respond to that.   "Are you alright?"  He asks.  "Of course, Lord Fallacy... I am alright."  I answer.  He leans down.  I back up a step to only hit a wall.  He raises an eyebrow at how I moved.  'I wanna disappear...'  I think closing my eyes and pulling my arms in towards my chest.  "Encre, you have a problem with relaxing. Do you not?"  He asks grabbing my chin and lifting it up.  I try to look away but he says "Eyes on me, Encre."  I look back up at him. He is smirking as he leans down.  He tilts my head to the side.  There is a clear shot at my neck.  My breathing gets heavier and I gulp knowing he is going to take my blood.  I then feel something brush against my neck.   My face is then tinted rainbow.  I didn't even realize I was shaking till I stopped. Lord Fallacy has a hand on my waist and the other on my chin.  Lord Fallacy is looking me in the eyes.  My blush darkens noticing the position we are in.   'If he kisses me... My first kiss would be with... A Vampire... Not just a Vampire... With the King of Vampires.'  I think trying to look away again.   "I already told you, Encre."  He says.  I look back at him.  Only to see the back of his head and for my neck to hurt.   I gasp and I feel my body shaking.  It suddenly doesn't hurt anymore.  My neck feels hot, but it is not painful.   I am extremely limp suddenly.  I can still move but I'm limp.   The hot feeling is spreading to the rest of my body, it continues on for a few moments.  I then feel him pull his fangs out of my neck. I gasp.  "I am glad you survived that, Encre."  Lord Fallacy whispers.  'What did he do to me?'  I ask myself.  I fall into him as he backs away, not being able to hold myself up suddenly.   He grabs me around the waist.  I feel so hot, and it's starting to burn.   "Welcome, Encre.  You are one of us."  Lord Fallacy whispers before I pass out.
