In The Distance - Fallacy x Encre (Book One)

Chapter 4 - Exquisite

I am sitting in silence reading a book.  The maids, and butlers had all gone to bed for sure by now.  I stand and place the book on the sill of the window.  I go over to my door and turn the handle.  I startle Suave who is on the other side.   I open the door for him to come in.  He comes in a worried expression on his face.  "Encre... Is something the matter?"  He asks.  "I... I..."  I try to say as I close the door.  "Suave... Where's the nearest mortal village?"  I manage to ask not looking at him.  "There is one not that far, from here."  He answers not even fazed by my question.  "Can you take me to it?"  I ask almost pleadingly.  "Lord Fallacy would not allow me to take you out of the castle."   Suave says.  "Please... I... Need blood."  I say covering my face.  I hear movement then I hear foot steps towards me.   "Bite into me, Encre."  I hear.  I see Lord Fallacy in front of me.  I hesitate seeing him in front of me.  'I hope this hurts for you.'  I think before biting viscously into him.  He gasps grabbing onto me.  Suave is staring in shock.  My bite releases slightly not being so hard.  I drink till I'm almost full.  I hold onto Lord Fallacy.  "Lord Fallacy... Are you alright?"   Suave asks.  He's breathing hard.  'Wait... I thought Vampires do not need to breathe...' I think looking at him.  I lick the remaining blood.   Lord Fallacy is looking at me surprised.  I lick my teeth.  "Perhaps... Considering the circumstances, it would make sense for you to still be considered a child."  Lord Fallacy states.  My face gets dark.  Suave helps keep Lord Fallacy standing.  I then hear yelling then there is the smell of blood.  Lord Fallacy's mouth is drooling. I turn into a bat as my door opens suddenly.  I transform looking pissed off.  Suave is cleaning Lord Fallacy's wound.  I'm looking out the window.  Suddenly it breaks in a small area and I'm hit in the head.  I fall backwards holding my head.  I see a few kids outside.  I turn into a bat and fly down to them sneakily.  I transform behind them.  I then say "That was not nice... That actually hurt."  The three boys look towards me.  They all looked shocked.  "Sir Encre, you are alive."  I hear from behind me.  "Which one of you threw the rock?"  I ask.  "Sir, Encre?"  I hear.  I turn to see Eterna there.  She is looking at me wide eyed.   "Sir, your head is bleeding."  She says.  "That's because of one of these kids..."  I state crossing my arms.  "I dared Darren to do it, it is my fault sir."  One of the mortal children say.  I nod. Eterna has her eyes on me.   "Darling, why are you outside?"  I hear.  Lord Fallacy is in the shadows.  I knock the children out easily.   Eterna is glaring at me.  Lord Fallacy comes up behind me.   "Oh Eterna, care to come in and have a cup of tea?"  Lord Fallacy asks.  I smell his blood and my mouth starts to drool.  "You turned him into one too... You're heartless Fallacy."  Eterna says.  Lord Fallacy turns me around and forces my head into his neck.  I finish drinking my share and lick up the rest.   I am licking his wounds I inflicted. "It was... The only way to calm him down."  Lord Fallacy says.  "Liar..."  I state before licking him again.  Eterna laughs.  "How does it feel?"  Eterna asks.  "Not to bad, it hurt earlier when he did it.  He took the breath from me too."  I mutter. Lord Fallacy laughs.  It feels relaxing feeling his chest vibrate slightly.  Even though I hate the guy I feel better.   "I remember doing that.  I am sorry about the three children, Encre."  Eterna says. Lord Fallacy is still holding me to him by my waist.  "Do not worry, about it.  They are children after all."  I say calmly before licking my teeth. 'Alright, here was the yelling.  Where is the blood?'  I think looking around.  "Encre... How is your neck doing?" Eterna says looking at the base of my neck, due to me still being in my night clothes.  "Since it healed over, it does not hurt anymore."  I answer letting go of Lord Fallacy.  "You healed over?  That is cheating..."  Eterna mutters.  Lord Fallacy laughs.  Eterna's teeth extend out slightly.  "That is cheating, no wonder you still have not been caught yet."  I say smirking.  My teeth look normal too. Lord Fallacy is still holding onto me like he's protecting me.   I surprisingly feel safe.  His grip is loose around my waist, but I don't pull away.  Without realizing it I fall asleep in his arms.
