Hope in the horizon

Hola peoples! Hope you like the 35th chapter!!!!!!!! Ah. . . I remember when this book only had three chapters! Enjoy!

     After our short talk with Den, we all sat on the floor, trying to figure out what to do next. Artemis was sitting in the corner while rubbing his temples and talking out-loud to himself. I groaned and yelled; "Shut up!" For the millionth time. He exhaled sharply and looked up and me.

     "Well, I talk when I think. If it is annoying you, go somewhere else!" He yelled at me. I clenched my shaking fists. With a sharp and high picked scream, I punched the wall. Birch looked up sharply. "Well, do you feel better?" Artemis asked. My fists started to shake again. I stood and walked over to him. Towering over him, I growled.

     "That is it! I am going to knock you out!" He looked into my eyes, knowing I was 100% serious. He tried to scoot away, his back pressing into the wall. I raised my fist and was about to punch him, when there was a hand on my shoulder. Birch gently pulled me away from the shaking boy. "What?!?! I want to punch his brains in!" I fought her, slowly loosing my rage. By the time I was on the other side of the cell, my shoulders drooped and I plopped onto the cold hard floor.

     "Let me see your hand." Birch told me. I agreed by holding out my now aching hand. She carefully moved my fingers and sighed, coming to a conclusion. "You most likely broke three of your knuckles." She told me. I sighed, flexing my fist. She let go of my hand and went back to her spot in between Artemis and I. She had been passing the time by playing the DS. I leaned my head against the wall and closed my eyes, feeling drained of energy. I was soon drifting into sleep.

     "My my! You three can't even be in a room for an hour without trying to kill eachother!" Den laughed. I gasped as my eyes flew open. "Looks like Stella decided to join us!" He chuckled. I stood and started walking around the room. "What are you doing?" He asked. I found what I was looking for, the speaker. I pulled it out of the wall and ripped the wires from the back while Den was trying to say something. It was something along the lines of: No! Don't do that!

     I started walking around the room and quickly found the other think I was looking for. The camera. It was supplying them with video and audio of what was going on in this room. I smirked and looked strait into the lends. "If you want to talk, be a man and come down here!" I snacked up the camera and flung it at the wall next to Artemis. It shattered with a loud smash. Artemis shrieked like a girl and scooted away.

     "If you mind, DO NOT EVER DO THAT AGAIN!!" He screamed at me. I laughed and went back to my spot. I sat down with a huff and closed my eyes again. I was almost asleep when the was a strange sound. My eyes flashed open and I looked to Artemis and Birch, who seemed oblivious to the noise. "What is it?" Artemis asked. In stead of answering, I stood and walked to where the noise was clearest. I got on my hands and knees and pressed my ear to the floor.

     "Stella?" Birch asked. I pressed my finger to my lips. I gasped and sat up. "What?" She asked. I grabbed her arm and dragged her to the other side of the room, farthest away from the ground. I pushed her against the wall and ran over to Artemis. I grabbed his arm and dragged him over to Birch.

     "Get on the ground and cover your head!" I ordered. Birch did so but Artemis didn't

     "Wait! I think I know who it is!" He yelled over the rumbling.  I groaned and grabbed the back of his neck. "What are you d-" I shoved him to the ground without letting him finish. I followed and covered my head just as the ground exploded.
