Hehehehehehehehehheheheehhehehehehe Birch is mad at me for not uploading in so long! Hope you like! and just for her. . . . KUUUUKUKUKUKUKU

As we got into the limo, I just barley hear Artemis tell Birch 'I don't trust Den.' I sighed. I was if-y about him. He seemed nice enough. . .

"Stella?" Artemis said, breaking my live of thought. I sat up and rubbed my eyes, realising that I must have fallen asleep. I looked out the tinted windows and was shocked. It was dark out. The smell of food filled the car. I looked at Artemis and sitting next to him was a bag. The source of the food. "Are you hungry?" He smirked. I narrowed my eyes at him. Holly laughed and snatched the bag from him and handed it to me.

"Here! Have some noodles!" She told me. I smiled. "I hope you're okay with that. I'm a vegetarian." She explained. I nodded. I pulled out a container of what looked to be mac'n'cheese. Birch stirred next to me, smelling the food. I nudged her and she sat up groaning.

"Wakey, wakey! It's noodle time!" I told her. She gave me a strang expretion until she smelt the noodles.

"Food?" She asked, instantly awake. I laughed and handed her the bag. She was eating before I had taking a bite of my own. Artemis seemed eerie quiet. I looked up from my food. He was sitting next to the window, staring blankly at the blurred trees.

"Artemis? Are you okay?" I asked causously. He sighed.

"Holly, do you think I should tell them?" He asked Holly.

"Wait! Artemis Fowl? Asking for advise?" Holly gasped is mock shock.

"No, I'm not a people-person so I don't know how they will react." He told her. She rolled her eyes. "Fine. I will tell them. It is your fault if something happens." He said. Holly snorted and turned back to her own food. "Girls. While Jene and I were getting food-" Artemis started.

"Wait!" Birch interupted. "Why didn't Butler get food with you? Why Jene?" She asked. Artemis sighed.

"I can't just leave someone I don't trust alone with your sister, a limo while you three are in another limo right in front of him. I am not an idiot." He said. I sighed. "Now, If I may." He said, looking at Birch. She just rolled her eyes. " While we were getting food, Jene saw someone named Kali.

(A/N! Kali, pronounsted Kaylee! Not Kali!)

"She was ecstatic and ran over to meet the girl. I was guessing she was someone from school. I was correct, but she knows all three of you and was wondering where you where. I just told her it was none of her concern, took Jene's arm and walked back into line. I thought you might want to know this. Oh, and she told Jene to tell you two, 'Don't be with this guy to long, he gives me the creeps.' Exact words." He explained. I was shocked.

"Why is Kali in Ireland?" Birch asked. He shrugged.

"Family vacation is my best guess. Who I am guessing where her parents where standing beside her." He said. I nodded and pulled out my cell. Before Artemis could stop me, I dialed her number. She picked up on the first ring.

"Liz! Why haven't you been answering my texts and calls?" She shrieked. I laughed.

"Chill! I've been in a no coverage zone!" I lied. She sighed.

"Well, were's you laptop? You must have wi-fi somewhere!" She complained. I rolled my eyes.

"If I had wi-fi, I would have my phone. Dorkus! Now, I heard you saw Jene and Artemis?" I said, changing the subject.

"So! That's who that was!" She said. "So, new friend!" She giggled. I gasped.

"NO! I wouldn't even think of that!" I yelled at her. She laughed.

"Oh! I get it! He's Syd's boyfriend!" She laughed. I groaned and shook my head. "Oh shush! You're just jealous!" She laughed.

"Artemis is no one's boyfriend! Shut up!" I said louder than I should have. Everyone was looking at me now. I sighed, looking at Birch. She groaned and put her head in her hands. Holly laughed. "So, I have to go. . . " I told her, rubbing the back of my neck.

"Come on! I want to talk to Syd's boyfriend!" Kali squealed. Artemis's face was bright red. Birch groaned.

"Love you, bestie! TTYL!" I yelled into the phone. I clicked the end button and slid my cell back into my pocket. I turned to the window so I wouldn't have to see everyone. Wow. . . That was fun! But by talking to her, I relised how much I just wanted to go home, to a normal life. I just want to live a normal life with the people I love. And now I know that they were just faked into thinking I was their kid and sister. It hurt me to think this, but I missed my brother.

I felt a tear run down my cheek. I quickly wiped it so no one would see, but of course, Artemis did. "Stella, are you okay?" He asked. I cleared my throat and nodded, not trusting my voice. "You are crying. Something is bothering you, no?" He asked. I sighed and nodded. I put my face into my sweatshirt and let the tears run. No sound came out of me. I was always a silent sobber. Someone put a hand on my shoulder.

"I know this is hard for you, but it will get much better soon. I promise." Holly said. I wiped my eyes and looked out the window. We where pulling into a long driveway with a manor at the end. "Welcome to Fowl Manor." Holly whispered. This was it. Birch and I might be able to have our old lives back. I can't wait. No sarcasm indented. I took a breath. Was I really ready to just let go of my old life and start anew?

"Birch?" I asked. She turned to me and raised her eyebrows. "Once we're inside and alone, can we talk?" I asked. She nodded. I smiled. I was grateful to have a friend like her. The limo stopped and Artemis was the first out. "Well, someone's in a hurry!" I muttered to myself. Holly chuckled.

"He doesn't like being away from his studies for long. He has a phobia of someone breaking in and stealing all of his work. That includes himself and the people he loves. He has a, ah, condition is all." Holly chucked. I nodded. Someone like his would have a condition. Like OCD. Ha!

"Is it OCD?" Birch asked, as if she knew what I was thinking.

"Sorta." Holly replied. That was the end of that. We got out and greeted Butler, Den and Jene.

"So, how was your ride?" Birch asked Jene as we walked behind Den and Butler. She groaned.

"Ugh! It was silent for the last hour! Butler and Den talked for a minute and then nothing. It sucked! What did you two do?" She asked. I smiled.

"Slept!" I responded. "Oh, and ate noodles! And talked to Kali for a few. Then we got here."

"Jealous! I saw her but then Artemis pulled me away." She said. Birch and I laughed. We walked inside and Butler lead us to a room.

"There is a bathroom connected. The door will be locked from the outside, Artemis and I having the key. This is to keep out unwanted visitors. If you need anything, just text or call Artemis and Juliet will come to you. She is my sister so I want her treated with respect." Butler explained. We nodded and walked inside. The room was huge! It had three beds, two dressers, a TV and a desk with a computer. I claimed one of the beds. I looked over the Birch.

"Hey, Birch. Are you ready to just give up our old lives and start a new one?" I asked her. She shrugged. "Words would be nice!" I laughed. She sighed.

"I'm not sure. I just don't know weather I want to let go of everything I love. I can't just leave my parents! I don't know what to do" She told me. I nodded. I sighed.

"Well, I'm tired. Night everyone!" I said. Jene and Birch agreed and I fell into a dreamless slumber.
