Faes POV

I awoke to the sounds of a loud bang on my door. Who in the actual hell was waking me up? I tried to roll back over and go to sleep again but the banging got more persistent and louder by the second. Groaning I pull myself out of bed, grabbing a hair tie to pull up my crazy bed hair. There was the damn knocking again.

"I'm coming" I yelled as I walked to the door, I was going to kill whoever this was. I swung open the door ready to get up the person behind hind it but stopped short. There standing in front of me was Zariah. I smiled up at him, I'm not sure what exactly happened last night but I figured we were on pretty good terms. He looked down at me, he was easily six feet tall and towered over me with ease. He did not look happy.

"Hey Zariah, what's up?" I asked trying to figure out the reason behind his angry face

"Well Fae, I just went downstairs to collect my breakfast and I was greeted by a visitor" his words were like Ice, no emotion hung behind them and I wondered what I had done to deserve his wrath.

"A visitor?" I asked, trying to get the reason out from him.

He took a step closer to me his face filled with some emotion I couldn't quite grab a hold of, "Yes a Visitor" He rolled his eyes "A visitor for you". He backed away turning to go back down to his bedroom at the end of the hall, then he turned to look at me "by the way, I want my shirt back".

I looked down and realised I was still wearing the shirt he had given me yesterday after my white slip had turned see through. I looked up about to apologise for not giving it back last night but he was gone. Probably disappeared into his bedroom. Then I remembered, I had a visitor.

I hurried back into my room throwing the more formal red slip of terrestrial women on before hurriedly brushing my hair. Not even worrying about shoes I practically ran down the glass stairs. I was on my last couple of steps before I slipped. whoever had decided to make these steps glass really needed to learn a thing or two about friction I thought as I fell forward. Just as I prepared myself to hit the cold stone floor a pair of strong arms grabbed me and I fell flat against a hard chest. Looking up a met the same pair of bright green eyes that had mesmerised be the day before.

"we have got to stop meeting like this Fae" Xavier said smiling "It could be hazardous to our health" he grinned letting me go gently.

I laughed, "thanks for catching me though, I am not in the mood for a run in with the floor" moving back slightly from him I sat on the bottom step of the stairs still a bit frazzled from my early morning tumble.

"hey I just came to stop by and see if you wanted to grab breakfast with me, as like a sorry for yesterday" He looked nervous stepping from one foot to the other.

I was hungry as hell and could use some good food "Sure thing, just let me get properly dressed for going out" I said before walking up the stairs again. I turned around beckoning him "come on, don't think I would leave you in the foyer".  He followed me up the stairs until we got to my room, I pushed the door open motioning for him to go in. He sat down in one of my magnetic chairs, "Your room is really lovely" he commented, I  opened my closet trying to figure out what I could wear out "Thanks, I love it" I smiled at him through the doorway "now what to Terrestrial women wear out" I asked.

he laughed "I don't know, most just wear the white slip or red slip, some wear more human styled clothing like jeans" He replied.

I groaned "your no use Xavier" I flung clothes to the ground as I picked through them all.

He looked concerned then piped up again "Really I am sure what you are wearing is fine for where we are going" he got up and stood at the door of the closet "you look nice so don't worry"
