Rappers/ Hip-Hop Artists that I recommend.

Okay so I'm putting mostly new rappers or people who have released albums in the past year, no 90s rappers. JayZ is not on This list because everybody in the bandom already has listened to him on thriller (from infinity on high by fall out boy) soooo onto the list.

Kanye West: okay so Kanye gets a bad rep and a lot of you don't like him because he's mainstream or whatever, but he is genuinely talented and I would highly recommend The Life of Pablo to anyone because it shows the more mature side of him. But if you like more fun stuff Yeezus is good too. Also listen to N****s is Paris it's LAT.

Leaf: you've probably never heard of her. She has a song called money that's really awesome and fun. And if you want to get into her music, she has a single called Nada feat. Lil Yachty that's really good too.

Chance The Rapper: okay if you don't know who my boy chance is yet then you are living under a rock. He's got SEVEN GRAMMY NOMS, BRUH (AND NOW TWO WINS YASSSS). his story is amazing and he's just extremely talented and also super cute. Chance is a total dork and I love him.

Honey C: Honey Cocaine is sooo good. She cusses a LOT tho so be careful if you're not really into that. I recommend her album Like a Drug, and her new single Coconuts if you wanna get into her music.

Snow Tha Product: OKAY OKAY OKAY HOLD UP. My girl Snow is awesome, okay? She was on the Hamilton mixtape (immigrants) and honestly I just love her so much. If you don't know who she is then you need to look her up, NOW. Her album/ep Halfway There Part 1 is what I recommend. Listen to Alright, Tonight, and No Cut then come and talk to me. I love her so much she just PLEASE LOOK HER UP.

Did you know that Big Sean is making a comback? (pun intended) like go listen to his single Bounce Back it's so good. (He's the guy who was on save rock and roll).

Kendrick Lamar: THIS MAN HAS WON SEVEN GRAMMYS AND HAD 22 NOMINATIONS WHY ARE YOU STILL READING THIS SENTENCE TO LISTEN TO HIS ALBUM TO PIMP A BUTTERFLY RIGHT NOW YOU WILL NOT BE SORRY.

Childish Gambino's Awaken, My Love! Dropped in December. I mean it's good but there's not a lot of rap in it. Go listen to him. Now.

J. Cole: Go listen to this man's new album. For Your Eyes Only is amazing, okay? Okay.

Drake: I know that you know who Drake is. I know that he is so mainstream that everybody in the world has heard Hotline Bling. But go listen to The Motto, Back to Back, and Energy. Please? For Me?

Kid Cudi: Man in The Moon The End of Days is such a good album. He sets himself apart because he talks about his mental health struggles and lots of other things that aren't really talked much about in the rap community. (Tyler Joseph raps but is not a hip-hop artist so if you bring him up because Of what I just said God help me I will hunt you down.) Also, This guy has been around for YEARS. Listen to Pursuit of Happiness and Heart of a Lion.

Bryson Tiller: I know that Bryson Tiller is more of an R&B artist than a rapper, but I just had to put him on this list. Bryson Tiller is from Louisville, where I live and was raised and yeah. He's actually from the same part of town as me, and he's just a huge inspiration for lots of local rappers and kids from that part of town in general. Just, listen to Exchange. And then listen to 502 Come Up, (502 is louisville's area code).

That's it! Are there any other rappers/ hip hop musicians that you think I should add! If so leave a comment and I'll check them out! Also, if you look any of these artists up, be sure to tell me what you think of them. Thank you!
