Blaine was supposed to come over to Kurt's later today. Which was a Saturday. The doorbell rang and Kurt went to go get it.

"Hey." Blaine said as Kurt gestured him to come in. "Okay. So, we have to do a performance in front of the class with an original?"

Kurt nodded as he sat on the couch, setting his computer on the table in front of him. Kurt gestured for Blaine to sit beside him.

Blaine looked at the photos on the table. "You kept this?" Blaine asked as he looked at the photo of them in a picture frame. When they were younger. They smiled widely  as rose pedals fell from the tree above them.

Kurt's eyes fell on the photo. "Well, my mom took it. That's why I kept it." He wasn't lying. That's a reason. Kurt couldn't find the heart to throw it out or put it in storage.

7 years old..

"This place is beautiful."Blaine said, looking around at the beautiful scenery.

"I take Kurt here all the time. It's our little secret hideout and place to go." Elizabeth smiled as she continued walking.

"I wish I can disappear here." Kurt said. He put out his hands to catch a couple of rose pedals that were falling everywhere.

"Let me get a picture!" Elizabeth exclaimed as she took out her camera. Kurt and Blaine stood in front of a big tree. Blaine side hugged Kurt and they both smiled big.

"I will always remember this." Kurt said and hugged Elizabeth when she went over to them.

13 years old...

Kurt sat in the grass. His knees pressed up against his chest. Kurt wiped his puffy red eyes. Blaine came up behind him. "How did you know I be here?" Kurt asked, sniffing.

"You weren't answering your phone. I suspected you were here because it's the day... and your dad said you were here."Blaine said, sitting down next to Kurt.

Kurt just looked at the beautiful scenery in front of him. "I haven't been here since my mom passed." Kurt broke the silence after a few minutes. A stray tear escaped his eye and he wiped it. "I couldn't bear coming here after that. The day, before her passing we went here and had a picnic. She packed me a peanut butter and jelly sandwich. She had a ham sandwich."

"Kurt..."

"Today, I was looking at the pictures and I stumbled upon the one years ago of us by this tree. When we were seven years old. You know she really loved you like you were her own." Kurt sighed trying not to start up the waterworks again. It was to late. "I miss her so much." Kurt started crying and it never stopped. Blaine put his arms around Kurt and rubbed his back.

"I know. I do too."

Kurt shook his head. "Anyway. So, what song are we singing of yours?"

"Kurt. I'm not a good songwriter like I said before." Blaine shook his head.

"Yes you are! Your amazing, Blaine. Stop doubting yourself." Kurt said.

"I mean I've gotten better over the years.." Kurt nodded. Blaine took out his songwriting book. "well I am working on a new song." Blaine started flipping through his book.

"Wait. What about this song?" Kurt asked as he stoped on a page. "I remember this."

"Ha... yeah."

Kurt slightly smiled as he remember the memory, but quickly frowned. As much as he'd like to hate Blaine for what he did. He just couldn't.

So. I hoped you liked this chapter and the story so far.

I'm good with updating..kinda.

That one part of the chapter made me tear up. I felt Kurt's pain. It was so sad.
