"Your going to be big one day." Kurt told Blaine, looking at him. "There's no doubt in my mind."

"And I believe you will be too. Your talent deserves to be heard."

"When your busy on tour and I'm busy on Broadway. Promise we'll always make time for each other." Kurt went over to sit next to Blaine on the bed.

"Of course. Oh we should go or else we'll be late." Blaine said, getting up. He grabbed his coat off of the dresser. He tossed Kurt's jacket at him and headed downstairs.

"You guys ready?"Burt asked the two and they nodded.

"Two blocks away." Kurt said to his dad and picked up a small bottle of water.

"What you think I'm going to embarrass you two?" Burt asked.

"I know you will."

"That's what parents are suppose to do." Burt laughed, bringing Kurt into a hug. "Get in here Blaine." Burt gestured for him to come and Blaine joined the hug. "You two better have fun." He said releasing them. "It is your first dance after all."

"We will dad." Kurt smiled. "Come on or else we'll be late." He followed Blaine outside and the two got in the back of Burt's truck."Are you going to ask her?"

"I was." Blaine shrugged and put on his seat belt.

"What happened?" Kurt asked.

"I think I may like someone else." Blaine told him.

"Who??" Kurt asked, curious. Blaine smirked and shook his head.

"It's a secret." Kurt playfully pushed Blaine's shoulder.

"Come on. Best friends don't keep secrets like this."

"I promise you'll find out sooner or later. I just can't tell you now." Kurt rolled his eyes.

"Okay fine"

A few days later...10:44a.m

"Here you go." Burt handed Kurt a bowl of popcorn. "You two okay here while-"

"Yes dad. We're not 7. We're old enough right Blaine?" Kurt turned to Blaine. "Blaine."

"Of course!"

"Call me if you need anything okay? Love you."

"Love you too, dad. Blaine, are you okay?" Kurt asked noticing the sadness in his eyes.

"Yeah.." Blaine wiped his eyes with his sleeve. "Let's pick the movie. It's your turn to decide." Blaine handed Kurt the remote.

"Are you sure?" Kurt asked, taking the remote. "You seem sad."

"I said I'm fine." Kurt knew something was off with Blaine, but decided to drop it for now.

"Okay..do you want want to watch The Hunchback Of Notre Dame?

"Yeah. Of course." Blaine nodded and watched as Kurt clicked on the movie. Kurt looked over at Blaine thirty minutes into the movie. He didn't know exactly what to do. Blaine seemed so sad and it hurts him that he doesn't know why.

Kurt grabbed the remote off of the table and paused the movie.

"Why did you pause it?" Blaine asked Kurt, trying to grab the remote to unpause it. Kurt held the remote out of range. "Kurt."

"Blaine. We've been friends for years. I know how you usually are. You don't like telling people how you feel or tell someone if your upset." Kurt placed the remote on the table and turned to Blaine. "I just want you to tell me what's wrong. I can tell your upset about something."

Blaine looked up from his hands and looked to Kurt. "Do you remember that one day last year. When Dave pushed you into the lockers..and called you that word. A few days later we sat on your porch after asking our parents about what it meant..." Blaine began and then stopped. Kurt nodded.

"Yeah."

"And I asked you if you would still be my friend if I was..." Blaine stopped and took a deep breath. "I'm gay." Blaine said and looked at his hands that were placed in his lap. Blaine then felt hands wrap around him. Blaine let out a breath he didn't know he was holding.

"I love you B." Kurt whispered, stroking his hair softly as Blaine lightly wept. "You're amazing the way you are are." He whispered. "Thank you for telling me." Kurt lightly kissed Blaine on the forehead and the two stayed there until Blaine fell asleep. Once he did fall asleep, Kurt laid him down on the sofa and covered him in a blanket which he snuggled in.
__________
5:34 p.m

Kurt sat on the floor quietly watching beauty and the beast trying not to disturb Blaine.

"Kurt?"

"Oh hey Blaine." Kurt looked over at him as he laid up on the couch. Kurt got up from the floor and sat down on the couch next to Blaine.

"What time is it?"Blaine asked running his eyes.

"It's 5:40." Kurt said after checking his phone.

"I've been sleeping for almost 4 hours?" Blaine asked and Kurt nodded.

"I could tell you needed it. How are you feeling?" Kurt asked.

Blaine looked down at his hands. "I'm..better. I'm just-I'm happy I told you. Your the only person I can trust. My dad had made it clear that I'd be a bigger disappointment of a son if I was last year."

"You are not. I'm glad you trust me." Kurt  extended his arms and Blaine moved over and hugged him. "Your my best friend. And always will be. I hope you know that." Blaine nodded and a small smile appeared. Blaine leaned back from the hug to look at Kurt. Blaine's leaned in a placed his lips on Kurt's. Kurt surprised slightly leaned back.

"I'm sorry." Blaine got up.

"No it's-"

"I should go." Blaine said and put on his shoes. "I'll see you tomorrow."

"Wait Blaine.."

Blaine glanced over at Kurt before leaving out the front door.
