"That was good. Thank you. Have a seat." Professor Mildred said and looked down at her clipboard to write down something. Blaine and Kurt both went back to their seats.
Blaine pulled out his songbook and started writing in it. Kurt took out his book and started reading it.

"Dismissed."Professor Mildred said. Everyone started heading out.
"Hey Kurt." Blaine called out as he shoved everything in his bag. "Wait up."
Kurt sighed and turned around, waiting for Blaine to catch up. Blaine jogged over to Kurt and the began walking out of the college building.
"That was quite a performance."Blaine said, breaking the silence between the two.
"Ha...yeah." Kurt laughed awkwardly. "Listen. Blaine, can we not make this awkward?"
"Make what awkward?" Blaine asked, stopping and turning towards Kurt.
"Pretending that everything is suddenly 'okay' just because of one damn assignment that our professor gave us." Kurt looked into Blaine's hazel eyes. "It doesn't change a thing." Kurt started walking again. Blaine grabbed Kurt's wrist.
"Wait."
"What?" Kurt looked back at Blaine. Coldness clearly showed on his face.
"Please. You don't know what happened. Let me explain, Kurt...." Blaine pleaded. Kurt yanked his wrist out of Blaine's grasp.
"You've had your chance. You.." Kurt took a deep breath, wiping a stray tear that escaped. Kurt laughed sadly. "Bye Blaine."
