16 years old....
"What are you doing?" Kurt asked, walking into Blaine's room. "Don't give me that look. You said to come over as soon as I can. Didn't realize you missed me that much."
"Shut up." Blaine jokes. He gestured for Kurt to come over to where he was. "I'm working on a new song." Kurt looked over at the words on the paper.
"It looks like a love song." Kurt said and Blaine nodded.
"Suiting for Valentine's Day." Blaine smiled as he were another word down to complete the sentence. Kurt looked at Blaine.
Kurt picked up Blaine's notebook. "I can feel you all around. In the silence I hear the sound. Of your footsteps on the ground. And my heart slows down." Kurt read. He looked over at Blaine. "So, do you like someone?" Kurt asked. "Come on Blaine. You can tell me anything."
"Maybe." Blaine admitted. "But I'm not ready to say who yet, but I'll tell you when the times right." Blaine told Kurt and he nodded.
"Well, I'll be here when you're ready. In the meantime, if we don't go now we will miss the movie. I'm pretty sure the previews are about to start." Kurt said, grabbing Blaine's hand. Blaine stood up from his position on the floor. Kurt handed Blaine his jacket.
"So, what are we seeing again?"
"Surprise remember. Don't worry. You'll love it." Kurt said as they walked downstairs. They walked outside and got into Kurt's navigator. Kurt passed Blaine the aux cord since it was his turn to pick the music. He already knew what would be playing. He has seen Blaine playlist.
The playlist consisted of mostly p!nk and Katy Perry songs.
Blaine looked at his songwriting notebook he had brought. He was almost done the song he was working on. He glanced at Kurt and smiled softly.

Present Day...
Kurt heard a knock on the door. He sat the heart shaped cookies he made earlier on the coffee table and got up from the couch to answer the door.
"Blaine?" Kurt questioned once he opened the door. Blaine smiled a small smile. "What are you doing here?" Kurt asked.
"I thought we could maybe hang out and work on our song?"
"And why did you assume I didn't have a hot date I'm getting ready for? It is Valentine's Day after all."Kurt asked. Blaine gave Kurt a look and Kurt sighed. "Fine, come in."

Valentine's Day..
"Come on." Blaine said as he got out of the car. "Wait no stay there. I don't want you to trip." Blaine quickly jogged over to the passenger side and opened the door. Blaine had made him put on a blindfold before they left. "Take my hand." He said and Kurt reached out and took his hand. Blaine led him out of the car and closed the door.
"Is the blindfold really necessary?" Kurt asked.
"Yes. It'll ruin the surprise if you didn't have it on."Blaine replied as he began walking to their destination. Blaine stopped and turn Kurt towards him. "Okay. You can open them in a second." Blaine left Kurt's side for a second to get something and returned in front of him. "Okay. You can take off the blindfold." Blaine said. Kurt slowly took off the black blindfold.
"You brought me to the meadow." Kurt looked around with a small smile. The two haven't been here in a few months. He looked back at Blaine and had just noticed what Blaine was holding. He looked down at the roses in his hand. Kurt took the flowers when Blaine handed them to him.
"Happy Valentines Day." Blaine said. Kurt looked down at the beautiful red vibrant roses. He looked up to Blaine's hazel eyes.
"The day I met you, my life changed forever. I remember I saw a small timid boy at a table alone in kindergarten and I decided to sit by you. That was the best choice I've ever made because I got to meet you and get to know you." Blaine began. "Twelve years later here we are. Here I am. The way you make me feel is hard to explain. You make me smile in a special kind of way..and I fall deeper for you every passing day." Blaine took Kurt's free hand. Kurt smiled. Tears formed in his eyes.
"Blaine-"
"I love you."Blaine cut him off. "I've loved you since the first time I laid eyes on you. I just didn't know it until we were old enough to know what real love was." Kurt was speechless. He stared into Blaine's hazel eyes. Blaine brought Kurt into a slow sweet kiss.

Present day...
"These are for you." Blaine handed Kurt a box of chocolates. "I just remembered these were your favorite." He said.
Kurt smiled as he took them. "Thanks Blaine." Kurt walked over and sat back on the couch. He sat the box on top of the coffee table. Blaine sat next to him. Silence fell among the two. Blaine was the first to break it.
"Do you-Do you remember the last Valentine's Day together? Before I left.." Blaine asked. Kurt looked over at Blaine.
"Yeah." Kurt nodded. "Yeah that was the year you surprised me and took me to New York to see wicked. You practically had to beg my dad to let me go with you." Kurt laughed a little.
"Yeah. And here I am surprising you again." Blaine said as grabbed the tickets from his bag.
"Blaine. You didn't have to do that." Kurt said looking at the tickets.
"I wanted to."
"Dear Evan Hansen?" Kurt read and looked up with a smile. "I've always wanted to see this."
Blaine got up. "It's starts in twenty minutes." Blaine said.
"Your amazing. Thank you." Kurt got up and put on his coat. Blaine began walking to the door, but Kurt pulled him back a little so Blaine can look at him. "This isn't a gesture for us to get back together right?" Kurt asked.
"No. No, this is a friend gesture." Blaine told him and Kurt nodded.

17 Years old..
Kurt looked at Blaine with a smile. "This is the best day ever." Kurt said. Blaine grabbed Kurt's hand and they began walking through Central Park.
"Define ever."
Kurt jokingly nudged Blaine. "I don't know how you pulled this off."
"That's a secret I'll never tell." Blaine laughed. Kurt stopped walking and turned Blaine towards him. Blaine leaned up and kissed Kurt. It was short, but sweet. "Happy Valentines Day."
"Our first as a couple and many to come." Blaine smiled and kissed Kurt again. Kurt looked into Blaine's rich hazel eyes.
"I can't wait to see what the future has in store for us."

Wow man do a suck at updating but school literally got in the way. I was supposed to finish writing last Thursday and upload on Valentine's Day but I had so much homework these past few days.
