Sam drops me off at the Cullen's the following morning. I left before Paul could convince me not to. Rosalie is waiting at her red Porsche. I put my bags in the trunk and I slide in the front seat with her. We slide out shades on and she speeds off towards the Seattle airport.
We catch the first flight to Denali, Italy. We are sitting first class, of course. Rosalie would settle for anything else. She hassled the attendant to give us these seats for an hour tops. So, we have some good seats because of her wits.
The plane soon lands and Benjamin is waiting for us. Rosalie smirks at me as Benjamin eyes me.
"It's okay to cheat on Paul, I saw him kissing Irina in the house yesterday; ask Tanya and Kate."
"I will; when we visit Alaska." I smirk.
Benjamin hugs me closely and he walks us to his black Mercedes. Rosalie and Benjamin both insist I sit in the front seat. I fasten my seatbelt for safety before he takes off speeding down the road. Vampires cannot drive the best in world, but you have to be precautions.
This part of the clan lives in a mansion. Benjamin walks me inside to a fountain and he rises it into a wave with one hand gesture. I smile at it as he drops it back into the fountain, being caught by the one who changed him.
"Welcome to Denali." The woman says in an Italian accent. "I am sure Benjamin here will help you feel more than welcome; Benji, show the girl her room hon."
"Come on, Melinda." Benjamin offers me his arm.
I loop my arm through his and he escorts me through the mansion / castle; this place is huge. My room is made of pure marble and metal. I smile as I lay on the water bed. These people must love me.
"Get some rest; I want to bring you on an adventure tomorrow." Benjamin informs me before leaving.
His red eyes burn through my mind for hours. I love Paul; I know he didn't. Benjamin didn't even see him, and he has a crush on me. I kind f like Benjamin, but I love Paul. I twirl my promise ring as I stare at the ceiling. This place has tall ceilings.
Rosalie joins me and apologized for lying about Paul. I forgive her, of course. She is my only real friend around Washington. She holds me as I fall off to sleep.
