Made for @The_Brunette_Weasley and starring Apollo. Your name is Jasmine Jackson, twin of Percy Jackson and you are of the age of 23 (realistically, with Percy and You being born in 1993). Separated at birth by monsters posing as nurses, a prophecy leads Percy to finding you, standing in a midst of monster corpses, thwarting the plans of Cyclopses to take over Camp Half Blood. This one shot occurs shortly after the battle with Emperor Nero and your best friend and lover, Lester, has returned to his Godly form, by order of Zeus, who thinks that Apollo has proved himself worthy. Apollo still drops by often to visit you, but has begun to reel back, due to him not being able to deal with the fact that he will outlive his lover again. However, with you being Apollo's lover, it has led to you unable to sleep in fear of your life, with a record of being chased down by eight separate blood-thirsty monsters in a single day.

"Did Apollo come to visit you recently?" Percy asked, casually sharpening Riptide and brandishing it about. You smiled a little sadly, and as you put down your blade, Eleos, you replied, "Nope, he's been gone for a few months, and occasionally leaves a few crappy love haikus." Percy huffed and drove his sword into the bark of a nearby tree trunk. You winced apologetically at the tree nymphs who gasped in surprise but Percy ignored them and complained furiously, "Gods, that Apollo, what makes him think he can just run around and leave my little sister alone."

You stuck your tongue out at him stonily and clarified, "You don't know that I'm younger than you, Perce. In fact, we all don't know that. But sometimes, the level of your maturity makes me think you're a 5 year old boy in a 23 year old adult's body."

"Ha ha," He punched you on the shoulder and you rolled your eyes. You glanced at your blade and trailed off, "And besides, Apollo's probably busy with whatever the heck God's are busy with, like being busy with being not busy. It's not his fault and I know that he still loves me." Percy ran his fingers through his hair as he sighed frustratedly. Yanking his sword out of the tree trunk, bitterness tainted his voice as he said, "Apollo, of all the Gods and Godesses, you chose him, probably Playboy 2.0 after Zeus." You sniffed, "You're just being insensibly over-protective, that's all." Grinning, he pointed his sword at you and you smirked, "Are you challenging me to a duel, Jackson?"

"Yes, I am, Jackson. I'm going to show you what I'd do to Apollo's sorry little arse if he ever treats you wrong." You stood up suddenly, an unexplained anger seizing control of you, and lunging forward, swung the blade first. Percy counter-attacked, his face displaying a mixed expression of confusion and shock, raising his blade and connecting with yours. You pressed down, his blade shivering under your pressure, but he pushed back, and as you stumbled back, he slipped away. Yelling defiantly, you leapt forward and ducking last second under Percy's sword, wrapping your arms around his waist and slamming him against the tree. He wriggled out of your grip and spun on his heel, knocking you the ground with the butt of his sword. You spat whatever metallic contents swirling in your mouth onto the ground and stood up. You went back and forth, swords clashing and sweat bouncing about, heels grinding into the dirt. Finally, you raised your arm and met his sword half-swing, shockwaves reverberating through your arm. Twisting the sword to the side, his sword fell to the ground, wrenched out his grip, and you held the sword to his throat, and you were able to feel his pulsing hot blood. He held up his hands in surrender, smiling in pride, but you didn't back off. With pursed lips and wet hot tears staining your cheeks, you pleaded, "Percy, please just... Lay off, Apollo. I know that you're doing this out of love for me, but at least let me try to take care of myself. And if you trust me, trust me to trust Apollo."

Percy gently pushed away your blade and clutched your shoulders tightly, his mouth set in a thin hard line. You dropped your blade, letting your hands fall limply to your side, but fists clenched in an effort to not cry. Percy embraced you tightly, and muttered, "I'm so sorry, Jasmine. I'm sorry. I'll try to lay off him. Really." He let go of you, and picked up your blade. Drying your tears with the tips of his fingers, he suggested, "Why don't you go to the lake and I'll return your sword for you? I think you might want some personal space to beat me up mentally. " You gave in to a small chuckled and he smiled. He pushed you gently towards the direction of the lake and mouthed, "Go." You gave him a quick kiss on his cheek and hurried away, praying that the Gods may never make you choose between Percy or Apollo.
