The fire burst and we fell to the walls on either side. I quickly got up and twirled my sword behind my back. I breathed hard and my heart was racing. "You don't want to do this! I know you don't!" I called my voice losing strength from the power of the last blow. "No, I don't. But I have to save my family. So I will fight." I didn't have a chance to answer cause he cascaded on the wall and flipped over, kicking me hard in the face.

He was extremely powerful. I could tell. The wall crumbled behind my back and blood spilled from my mouth. The red showed on the black of my bra and I glanced up to see him smiling at me. "You're very attractive you know that?!" He announced admiring my face even though it was bloody. "To bad you won't live long enough to be a model. I would have bought that magazine!" He laughed and ran a hand through his golden hair. I laughed and stumbled on my feet. I lunged forward in extraordinary speed and sliced his chest. It left a huge gash and a golden light bleed from it.

"You seem like an angel, and maybe... You are!" I thought out loud. He laughed harshly and brought his sword down hard. I brought my katana up and stopped it. I glared at him straight in the eyes. I ducked and spun around slicing his stomach to leave a greater cut than before. Then, I lifted my leg and tried to kick him in the face, but he grabbed it and spun me around. I staggered and before I fell he caught me and pushed his sword straight through my chest.

I gasped in astonishingly, terrible pain and looked at him. He had tears in his eyes and lowered me to the ground. Then he yanked the long sword out of my chest and put it in the hilt by his thigh. He crashed to his knees and cried out. He dove his face into his hands and leaned closer to the ground, like he could go through it. Get away from his problems. I saw Jackson across the room, still sleeping away the troubles. Still thinking I was asleep by him.

The boy got up and walked over to me. Then he wrapped his arms around my waist and lifted me up. I tried my best to yank my arm and slap him across the face. His mouth opened in astonishment and then laughed a deafening laugh. "Please, heal yourself. I wouldn't have done that if I thought you couldn't!" The tears from before still ran down his face and dropped low on my clothes. I tried my best to say something but blood ran out my mouth. He quickly wiped his hand across my check and left no blood behind. "Don't say anything. Just heal yourself. Come with me and we can find both of our family members.  Just heal, now." He scowled in a gentle way as to not put me into panic. I closed my eyes and a fire like light surrounded me and the boy. I felt my chest numb and the blood float away from me. The sensation was so overwhelming I felt I was gonna cry.

The fire died down and I opened my eyes. The boy leaned over me to inspect my face and smiled right after. He pressed the bridge of his nose to mine and smiled next to my lips. "I knew I could trust you." He smiled. I caught on to my words, but they came out in a whisper. " I am still mad, you stupid bitch." I paused and snickered at his surprised reaction. "You almost killed me. That hurt by the way!" I announced in a joking manner. He chuckled and lifted my head closer to his. "Let's go and kill the mother fucking bitch that took our family." He replied and grabbed my waist. He pulled me to my feet with a little bit of strength and fixed my weapon in my hands. "I am sure you know how to use this?" He questioned and there was a faint smile on his gorgeous face. "Very funny! Can we go now? Get Jackson to safety as well. He isn't in the best fighting condition right now," I spoke looking at Jackson over the boy's shoulder. "Oh, that's the boy's name. Got it girl!" He replied and jogged over to Jackson. He found a small space that had food, water, and lots of space to walk. He practically threw Jackson inside and scribbled a quick note that said where we were going, just in case he woke up. "Let's go!" I shouted to the boy and charged out the now open door across the room.

He rushed out and slowed down once he got to my side. "So what's your name anyway?" I asked looking straight ahead for any sign of the woman with the platinum blonde hair. "Jonathan. It's Jonathan." He said while watching with narrow eyes. "What's your's?" He questioned smiling a little while he said it. "Vanessa. I think you already know my last name so I think it's not neccesary to say it." I droned on like I did with Jackson before. Before he could reply a quick shadow passed through the bright light and stopped in front of the two double doors. Karana and Jonathan's family had to be in there. That was the only reasonable reason for this bitch to be blocking the way.

"Oh, well hello there little children. I am afraid that you can't go any farther from here. This is a restricted area." She said while tightening her grip on the dagger she was holding. Her voice had a southern accent to it and it annoyed me. "Give me back my sister you bitch!" I shouted full of anger. "I would love to do that. But, I can't. She is with the other prisoners." She yelled almost if she thought we already couldn't hear her loud mouth. I felt Jonathan tense at my side and I realized when she said prisoners she meant, Jonathan's family.

"Give me them all back. Or else!" I threatened moving closer. "Or else what? You gonna kill me? I would love to see you try!" She called to me with obvious anger. "Fine. That's the way you want it? You got it. Jonathan, you know what to do!" I turned my head slightly to see if he actually did know what to do. He nodded slightly and turned his attention back to the girl. His body blazed with the golden fire as he held his blade so hard, his knuckles started to whiten. My body blazed up in a brilliant fiery red flame. I clenched one sweaty fist by my side, the other on the hilt of my blade. Then, at the same time, Jonathan and I sprang forward in a wide leap towards the girl. I gritted my teeth, while baring my white and glowing katana.
