No Mercy

My hands raised up by a pull on the chains and I hung my head low. They must have known I could grab my katana. Jackson acted first. Before the chains could push his hands up, he grabbed the katana by my thigh and slashed the chains away from my hands. I collapsed to the ground and twisted my arm to relax my muscles. Jackson dropped the katana to my knees and screamed in utter pain of the pulling chains. "Do you think you can hold out until I am done taking care of these guys?" I asked looking ahead of me at my competition. "I'll be fine," He stuttered to grasp his breath. "Be careful ok Vanessa, don't die!" He laughed and blood sputtered from his mouth. I grinned and jumped forward, bearing my white shining blade.

I leaped on the wooden chair and kicked out at the first guys face. Then twirled and landed in a crouch, my katana out behind me. He fell to his back and I dashed forward dropping to the ground to slice him. He held out his hands and pushed me back, making me land in another guys arms. He twisted me around and head butted me backward. I held my head in pain and wobbled toward him with anger. I slid on the ground and went through his open legs. They really need to work on not leaving their legs open, and sliced his leg clean off. It fell and I felt like cheering and vomiting at the same exact time. He gasped out loud and started to cascade backwards. I sprinted around him and stuck my blade straight through his back. So that the katana's tip shone through his chest. He collapsed like I did and instantly burned away. "What the hell? You guys are demons!" I exclaimed backing away from the ashes.

A brut guy with dirty blonde hair strided towards me carrying two blades like mine. "Yes, we are demons. Do we scare you?" He asked smiling. His sharp shark teeth showing through his chapped lips. "Never!" I shouted throwing myself at him. He blocked me with one of the blades and scraped the metal surface of the other one across my face. Blood immediately started pouring from the huge cut, and blurred my vision. Unlike last time blood was on my face, I charged toward the man, rubbing my bloody face on his designer suit. He grunted in anger and went to stab me again, but I blocked him with my sword and knocked it out of his hands. He looked back towards his katana forgetting he had another and started to walk quickly towards it. I ran over and cut his head off. Blood gushed everywhere as I stepped back before he burned away like demons always did.

The other three demons stood in total shock and whipped out their weapons. All of them held just one huge Blade. But it wasn't a katana. It was a much more powerful brutal sword then that. It gleamed in the old yellowish light that lit the area. I backed up some more and glanced over to Jackson. He was bleeding all over, his eyes closing with a sign of close death. I gasped in terror and the demons snickered heading straight towards me. I sprinted off towards Jackson and everything slowed down like it always did when I battled. I front flipped on the center table and threw my blade straight towards the chains holding Jackson.

Before the blade struck I jumped back off the table and took hold of one of the demons I killed weapons and dashed towards Jackson as well as the other demons. I got to Jackson right as the blade cut through the chain. I threw the other weapon up and cut the other chain. He fell to the ground gasping for air, throwing his arms down. I caught the two blades before they fell. "Kidnap me that's fine. Kidnap my friend and almost kill him? That's a big No No." I chanted glaring at the men. At that moment I heard Jackson mumble something. I bent down to hear what he said. He repeated his words." This is why I love you!" He whispered in my ear and smiled his bloody teeth smile. I smiled back and jumped back up. "Ok, no more mercy." I yelled.

The demons all ran for me. Then, the most surprising thing happened. Fire surrounded me in a waterfall around my body. I looked down at myself and grinned the same devil grin as the woman. "It's play time!" I laughed and threw my self forward at them. The demon in front threw his blade forward and cryed in fear behind it like a coward. "Oh come on, don't be like that!" I laughed hard and came close to him. My fire blazed up and scorched the demon into ashes. I jumped up and flew forward in mid-air. "Who's next?" I asked laughing and laughing non stop. The two men backed up in fear as I hurtled towards them, boosting my foot against the table to stay in the air. I flipped around and landed in a low crouch, both my blades stuck through the guy's stomachs. Without warning, the fire blazed again and scorched both down into ashes like the other man.

I got up from the crouch and brushed the fallen ashes away from my outshowing clothes. "Well, That was fun!" I exclaimed in excitement. I rushed to Jackson's side as I heard a loud gasp of breath from the ground. "Jackson! Jackson are you ok?" I asked full of panic. "No, Vi I'm not ok. Do I look ok?" He replied sarcastically a faint smile on his face. Tears rolled down my eyes as I struggled to take his sweater off. He went limp after I pulled it off and leaned against my lap. I ripped the sweater in half and wrapped it around his bleeding arms. "It isn't enough Vanessa, I might die here. But, not before I say you were amazing. You are a real warrior!" He said his voice full of excitement. "You're NOT DYING JACKSON, I WON'T LET YOU!" I screamed out loud at him. I pushed my hands over his slow beating heart and the unexpected happened. My hands started to glow a golden color as his arms healed! I felt for his heartbeat again. His heartbeat was faster now. The blood started to evaporate and give way to the magic underneath.

The golden glow vanished as Jackson sat up, against my will to lay him down. "I feel great!" He announced to me with a smile bigger than the pacific ocean. "I did magic!" I mumbled in his ear. "You did! But do you know what would make me feel better?" He asked looking in my eyes. "What do you need?" I questioned a little panicked. "This," He said leaning in closer to me. Finally, our lips touched lightly at first then more fiercely. He pushed his body into mine, moving lightly back and forth. I wrapped my arms around his waist and pulled him closer. Until I could feel his breath. After a good 5 minutes of totally making out fiercely, We pulled away and looked at each other with loving looks. "I already feel better." He whispered slyly. "Good, your medicine worked then!" I replied playing along with his game.

I got up and looked at the wall the woman vanished through. "That must be a hidden door. I think I can open it with my magic." I spoke raising my hand thoroughly. I stretched my hand out towards the wall as my hand began to shine with the same golden light. The wall started to separate it's gray barrier and a brighter light than in the room, shone through. I covered my eyes from the harshly bright light and walked towards it. I paused and turned around slightly. "Come on Jackson. Let's find Karana." I called over to him. He staggered up quickly, jogging to my place. I pulled the Jacket's hood up over my face and started out to the open space in front of me. I will never pause again, never stand still, till either death hath closed these eyes of mine, or fortune given me measure of revenge. I am coming.
