After spending some time reading from the Warrior's Dao and Combination Scroll then practicing various techniques, Sam spent a little over an hour exploring the initial section of the valley and had come across some interesting items including a Crystal Herb Piece, a Pick Axe, Monk's Prayer Beads, and a Spirit Glass Piece. After a relatively difficult stretch of combat with more silver furred foxes and even several large silver furred feline predators, he had only now taken the time to read over the item descriptions.
Crystal Herb Piece
Restores a small amount of HP over a period of time.
The Stone Valley is home to many incredible minerals, the most popular of which includes this lime green stone. Crystal Herbs were created by an alchemist named Bonahardt long ago. The alchemist used his unmatched knowledge of herbology and mineralogy to bond the two distinct materials. Bonahardt's efforts succeeded beyond his wildest expectations as his rock formation showed signs of plant-like growth. Crystal Herb's grow in caves in a similar fashion to algae.
Pick Axe
A small handheld tool used by many villagers in the Stone Valley to mine ore, gems, and even simple rocks to sell to merchants. This particular Pick Axe seems to have been augmented for combat with a thicker shaft and blade.

"What the hell is that?" Sam wondered aloud as he saw what looked to be a skinny golem waddling into the main valley with a huge sack on its back nearly bigger than it was.
I wonder if it drops anything rare. I don't think I really care to find out, he thought before checking out the rest of his items.
Monk's Prayer Beads
An object used to channel divine Blessings and heretical Blasphemies, which the cynical simply refer to as an alternative type of magick. Augments their power by strengthening Blessings and weakening Blasphemies. Monks in the eastern lands used these holy beads in battle with demons. The one hundred and eight beads signify the one hundred and eight priests who died sealing the most destructive demon, Shinma-ou.

Spirit Glass Piece
Can be used to alter the size of objects made of Spirit Glass. Must be taken to a crafter knowledgeable of glasswork, magick, and alchemy.
Spirit Glass, a wondrous and mysterious silvery material that proves to be indestructible when in the possession of someone with an indomitable will. The power inherent in the soul strengthens the glass and only when the will of an owner's soul has been completely broken does the glass shatter and fade away. No one knows who first crafted this material, but it is first and foremost associated with those chosen few who collect Soul Fire.
