Song: You There
Artist: Aquilo*Continuation for Time Stands Still....*
-------------
Quick chattered rove through the room of students when the lights had all went out. Slight of gasps were heard but nothing too major that seemed like the killer was in the room. I try to find a good explanation on why in the world would someone play a sick joke like this. But it also seemed like whoever was behind all this took their time to plan this.
I could still feel Eleanor close to me, considering she was clinging on my arm like a child scared of the dark. If she held any tighter I would nearly passed out, but I was shaking uncontrollably myself. Either someone decided to play a cruel joke on us or this is really happening and we're practically in a horror film. Yes, I was scared shitless but the adrenaline in my heart wouldn't hesitate to attack in sudden defense at anyone who was trying to kill me. Only using my fist and every instrument of my body to show that I have no mercy. Maybe I was thinking like a lunatic but I was focus on the thought there could actually be a serial killer in here, then to mind about anything else.
"How could this be? Who in the right mind would sabotage my dance!" El complained still holding onto my arm as we stood face with the other students in the room. None of which who were minding us but flashing their light on that were coming from their cellphones.
We were gathered around but some roam the gym to find some kind switch to turn on the school's lights on in here. The only big light besides the phones -was the full moon outside the gym. It faced our school leaving a stream of gleam from the opened entrance of the school's gym. The windows were high up from the lockers as it glowered down on the building.
"Eleanor, you think if you could stop caring about the dance for one damn minute and think of our next move?" I say finally able to free her grasp around my arm. I didn't mean to seem harsh but it just came out like that. We all needed to think straight and follow up a plan that would not get us harmed.
"Give me your phone" I say.
"Why don't you use yours?" She asks.
"Mine died and we need to call for help" I mentioned recalling what I saw what happen a few minutes before I got here. The horrid image stuck there.
When she handed me her phone I've realized that there was a few minutes left before anyone could arrive to the dance. Things weren't looking so hot right now if they came in with the school's lights off. Reaching the call number my hands started to trembled. No...like really trembled. It felt uncontrollable like someone held it for themselves. Then I hear a loud piercing sound that eluded my ears. The pitch going higher and higher - the sound awfully resembled a hearing test when you go to the doctors. It was getting louder by the second and for some reason I ended up on my knees with my hands on my ears-covering the noise and wailing through my tears. I could feel my eardrum start to rattled so hard -my ears could bleed at any moment.
My head was too wrapped up on this that I didn't feel someone's hands shaking me to stop it all. I hear myself scream but it was nothing compare to the dreadful sound that plugged my ears. It stopped when I could feel a cool liquid come out from one my ears and on to my hand. My eyes were open and I saw black spots clouding my vision, few tears falling out and then when I gained back posture. I looked around me to see students making a circle with a couple of flashes on from their phones. Their light bothering me I was quick to turn away from them and looked who was beside me. Eleanor and Jess looked at me curiously but a hint of worry in their eyes shown too.
