When Two Worlds Meet

Chapter 7: Jenovia

We walked through the woods with our bags on our backs well except for Addison who was now sporting her blue hair. Jay was walking ahead of us seeming tense for his natural nonchalant behavior I walk faster to catch up with him then grabbed his hand which made him stop. "we should stop and camp soon" is all he said and continued walk but never letting go of my hand.

When we reached an opening of sorts Jay grabbed our bags setting them down he pulled out several ropes from his bag then tied them up. "Why did you do that?" Addison walked up to him to be rewarded with a smile and a reply "So nothing gets into them." She nodded then asked "where will we be sleeping?" He picked some of the other ropes then pointed up looking at her she gave him a look of shock "in the tree?!?" He nodded "we wont be caught. Don't worry about falling you'll be secured up there." He smiled a closed eye smile holding up the ropes. Causing me to laugh enough to get them to stare at me. "Do I look funny to you?" Jay said to me slowing walking towards me and cocking his head, I replied by shaking my head. Which he returned with attacking me in a playful way "You don't look funny sorry sorry. Please stop." He grabbed me the chin and lifted one of his eyebrows "Next time I won't stop till I feel like it." I tried nodding my head but he made a clicking noise, shaking his finger "Use your words when you speak to me." It felt like he was being serious but I knew he was kidding around "Yes, sir" he smiled kissing me before letting my chin go "That's better."

Addison cleared her throat making both us turn towards her "So how long has this been going on?" She said gesturing to both of us. My face turned red as I backed away from him then he grabbed me pulling me closer "Long enough to officially be together, right darling." I opened my mouth and looked at her then him but closed it as I felt the blood rushed to my cheeks. I pointed behind me and walked away trying to cool my cheeks I stopped at a pond nearby and sat at the edge. Eventually I heard leaves crunching then I heard "Boys, am I right?" I looked back to see Addison standing there with a bucket in her hand I laughed at her comment and looked back at the pond. "May I join you?" I looked at her and she is now standing next to me then I patted the grass. "We are still friends, Addison we had one disagreement and now you have blue hair and you're here with us."

"I didn't what you were thinking about."

I laughed and leaned into her."What is there to think about. We are just walking out here in the wilderness with a limited supplies of everything except water and nowhere to call him since our home probably will never want us again."

"hmm I guess if you put it that way there is nothing to worry about."

We both kept a straight face for 30 seconds before bursting out laughing. I stopped almost as soon as Jay walked over Addison quickly stopped, filled her bucket then walked away.

"Hey, is everything okay?"

I shrugged my shoulders and swished my finger around in the water. "I don't know is there?"

"Ohhh don't act like that Jelly bean."

I glared at him then splashed him. "Don't call me that."

"But, Jelly bean I think its cute."

"I don't. What made you say that back there it was unexpected."

"Wow, that's why you're over here sulky because Addi asked us a question and I gave her an answer?"

"I didn't know what to say I didn't expect an answer like that, Jay. We've been friends forever I..I..ugh."

"If you're not ready fine but understand I've been waiting since I met you."

"That's not fair Jay and you know it."

"Just stating facts..."

I pulled him down by the front of his shirt and kissed him. He didn't kiss back at first due to shock but when he pushed his shock away he kissed passionately back. I wasn't ready for him to pull away but when he did I was out of breath.

"You're better this than your were last time."

I looked at him with a 'wtf' face "really you just ruined the moment." As I got up to leave he pulled at my arm "Just cause you think we are alone doesn't mean we are." He pointed towards the trees and I saw Addison duck down. I whispered in his ear then got up leaving him behind. I felt his eyes stare at me as I left when I reached the bush Addison was and crossed my arms as she slowly turned towards me. I rolled my eyes as I went back to camp with her next me trying to come up with excuses for why she was watching us.

She didn't stop talking till I stuffed some bread into her mouth and grabbed her arms "it's fine so please stop." I heard a chuckle and saw Jay come up from the corner of eye "Are you sure its fine? I think we should do something about our little stalker." He crossed his arms across his chest leaned on leg, and raised his eyebrow. I looked at him not letting go of her then I grabbed a piece of the bread that was sticking out of her mouth and stuffed it in his mouth "We won't do a thing this time, got it?" He smirked and nodded then walked away with his hands behind his head. He went over to the tree and grabbed onto the branch above him and climbed up.

I went over to my bag and grabbed the black pants and hoodie that I brought and walked over behind a tree. Checking my surroundings I saw something so I left my clothes hanging on a branch then walked towards what I saw when I got there I saw two girls laughing around a fire.
