'Cat!' Dan shouted into an empty flat. She must have gone out wth friends or something, Dan thought to himself. 'I just think it's a bit inappropriate!' Cat screamed, then turned into her bedroom and slammed the door.

Over the next few days Cat was completely hostile. On Monday, Dan made an attempt to converse with Cat.
'That's a nice dress, Cat,' he said, referring to a new red dress that Cat has bought a few sad previously. 'Suits you.'
Cat only stared at Dan for a moment before getting up off the couch and leaving the room. Dan sighed in frustration, and gave up.

When Tuesday finally came around,  Dan and Cat were still not talking. They sauntered around the house, trying as much as possible to avoid each other. This time, when Dan left to go across the road, he didn't inform Cat whatsoever. He just collected his wallet, jacket and put on his shoes, then left the house. 'Doing quite alright, actually.' Phil replied.
Dan glanced down at the fingers that were slipping under Dan's shirt.
'No ring today, huh?' Dan asked casually.
'Didn't feel like wearing it.' Phil replied.
'That's cute.' Dan said sarcastically, placing a hand on the doctor's arse.
