Earth had most definitely changed through the years not only was the world more advanced it was also more cultural there were people of different species walking everywhere, it was crazy.
"What happened while I was gone?" Right as I had said that I accidentally bumped into a man with pointed ears.
"Oh I am so sorry I didn't mean to..." Just as I was apologizing Fletcher butted in and actually insulted the man.
"Get out of here you emotionless piece of crap, things like you don't belong on Earth" As he was saying that I had expected the man to get angry or insulted but no he just stood there emotionless like it was a normal routine to be insulted, when he was finished with the insults he turned around grabbing me and stomping off like a child.
"How dare you insult that man" I was repetitively slapping his biceps as he pulled me away because of how rude he was.
"They are Vulcans and do not deserve to be on earth they are emotionless animals who will only do something as long as it is logical" He was almost screaming it in my face which gave me horrible flash-backs and made me fall to the ground having a panic attack.
Time Skip To Several Hours Later
When I opened my eyes again I was in what would resemble a hospital bed but of course more future looking.
"So panic attacks were common back then?" Fletcher was standing there at the entrance of the room.
"Did you find my family?" I asked slowly sitting up.
"Well it turns out your family is now in Russia but I did find one member that actually goes to Star-fleet Academy" He had done it he had found my great niece or nephew I blew out a sigh of relief.
"A. how long have I been in here? and B. what is his or her name?" I asked while slowly sitting up not knowing what had happened to me while I was out but it felt like my stomach had been cut open from the inside out.
"Just around several hours and don't worry your great nephew is quite smart not only is he an incredible mathematician he is the chief engineer of the USS Enterprise and his name is" He purposely took some time looking for the name and looking at me knowing i was frustrated.
"Pavel Chekov" wow Pavel is a weird name but they... We were Russian I was still trying to understand this concept of my screwed up life.
"Ok could I ask one more question?" There was one small question still dancing in my mind.
"Yes what is it?" He said interested in what I had to ask.
"Whats a USS Enterprise?" He had a look on his face that looked like he forgot where I was from.
"Right sorry I forgot you're not exactly 'caught up' with all our new fangled technology grandma" He smirked a mischievous smirk while leaning against the doorframe, or what looked like a door frame.
"Haven't you heard the saying 'Respect your elders'" I smirked back challenging him.
"Of course I have but you're so old I think you passed the elders and have gone to ancient" Ouch I know we were joking but it hurt to know that I was so old I mean one day I was just a teenager and now I am possibly one of the oldest women on earth. Upon noticing my depressed face Fletcher immediately stopped laughing and walked over to me.
"Hey just so you know you're probably one of the hottest looking 1,000-year-olds I know" He gave me a toothy grin when he looked at me.
"That's because I'm the only 1,000-year-old on earth" I laughed weakly trying to hide my discomfort.
"You'd be surprised what's changed over the years" He winked at me like he had just won the argument, which he had but that was only because I was busy freezing my butt off in a big cold tube, how was I supposed to know what's changed?
"Well anyway back to your family I was able to get into contact with one Pavel and I explained the situation and he said he'd be happy to meet you and do a blood test" I grinned happily knowing that my great-nephew wants to meet his great aunt made me happy but one thing stuck out to me.
"Why does he want to do a blood test?" I was confused as to why a blood test if he really thought I was his aunt why did he want to do a blood test?.
"Well I asked for one as to find out how strong your genetic bond is between you two but don't worry he's 100% positive you're his aunt as it's apparently a family story of how you upped and disappeared" That gave me another pang of guilt this whole time my family thought I was gone they thought I ran off on my own free will they never knew the truth of my disappearance.
"Alright well how about getting me out of here and getting some food being locked away all those years really builds up an appetite" I chuckled suddenly realizing the empty abyss also known as my stomach was screaming for some food.
"Okay but I must warn you that food has drastically changed from when you were around"
"I don't care as long as it is food and it's edible I'm happy" I said as Fletcher started Pressing a button no doubt getting a nurse to take out the needles and say I was okay to leave.
What came in next made me jump it was a creature with a weird white face but looked like an alien with strange markings.
"Are you ready to leave now?" she had a voice that sounded like she had been in a house fire and her voice box was still healing but I kept my mouth shut as she seemed nice and was the one handling the needles stuck in my body.
