3rd Persons Point Of View
They had done it, they had frozen a human being in the middle of her life and there was no knowing if she was going to wake up after this but they had done it. If she didn't wake up they were red blooded murderers and had killed a girl who did not even want this.
In the midst of all the scientists thinking there was a noise that was not only loud but was followed with one of the walls in the laboratory falling and instantly kill at least fifty men and women, you could hear their blood curdling screams and the noises of bones breaking instantly on impact it was indescribable but at the same time unforgettable.
Everyone was thrown into a panic and were running towards any exit they could find some were even running wildly not caring where it got them as long as they were away from any impact.
But there was one man who was not running away but towards the device that had caused it.
The Cryogenic Freezer.
Markos didn't care for Adelia as much as he cared to prove people wrong, people wrong who had said he was a fool for believing in such a thing, the people who said it was wrong and that you had to let people die when they were meant to, yes there was a deep part of Markos that cared for her and was happy that she was kind enough to humour his long rants of how it truly was possible you could even say there was the tiniest part of him somewhere that had fallen for her but at this time all he cared about was proving those people wrong and if it meant hurting her or risking his life he would gladly do it a million times.
"I must get her out...Must make them learn...Can't be embarrassed again" He muttered to himself while trying to push the capsule towards the closest exit.
That was when another scientist saw Markos, he knew that it wasn't safe and decided to help by dragging Markos out.
When Markos suddenly felt a hand dragging him back he started going mad.
"Leave me alone I need to prove them wrong" He had the exact same crazed look in his eyes as before but with the soot and cuts all over him he looked even more crazed than if he were an escaped mental health patient.
"Leave it, it will be fine its almost indestructible just change the times" The man had no idea what to do their two escapes were slowly closing.
Markos looked at Adelia "I will come back just later than promised" He gave the glass capsule holding the young girl a quick kiss and changed the dial as he was running out.
The only problem with him running was that he didn't notice that rather than 17 more days it had been written as 1317 a whole lot longer than he had anticipated.
When the two had finally escaped the first thing they saw were all the authorities lining up to help but all that Markos could think about was that capsule with the girl who had trusted him and now no one would know of his success except for the neighbouring prisoners.
