10. Entering the lions den

Arriving to this weird school I could not stop staring.

Theres so many different people.

Or species.

There are women with bright green skin and long luscious red hair, tall blue men with tall Mohawks and groups of men and women with varying colours and skin tones wearing all sorts of futuristic and colourful clothing, its incredible. I couldn't believe my eyes I was getting a headache from all the exciting prospects in front of me.

After realising how long I had stood there like an idiot with my mouth wide open like a fish I shrugged my bag strap back onto my shoulder and walked towards reception.

Walking through the door the room was quite bland compared to the colours I'd just seen outside. The man at the desk looked lie a human with a dark chocolate skin tone and bright bleach blonde dreadlocks pulled back into a pony tail.

I was pulled out of my thoughts when then man suddenly cleared his thought and spoke up "Can I help you?".

I shook my head embarrassed he caught me starring. I prayed the foundation I put on this morning would cover up the strong cherry blush I could feel burning my cheeks.

"Yeah I'm the new student Adelia Kallisto could you help me out I'm a little bit lost".

"Oh yeah I heard about you, you're the frozen girl right?" He smirked while typing into a computer. "Yep Adelia Kallisto advanced math and medical major. Well let me be the first to formally welcome you to the university". He got up and walked over to me and gave me a hug which was extremely weird and totally not something I expected.

I cleared my throat after that extremely uncomfortable hug "Okay well um so my dorm number?" I smiled.

"Ah yes here this has your dorm room number class schedule and everything and anything else you need to know about the classes".

"Okay" I practically ripped everything out of his hands and made a runner to the door and got out.

It took a while to find my dorm but when I did I was exhausted and couldn't wait to get into my bed and sleep 'till tomorrow.

I carefully knocked just incase another person was inside changing when I heard a loud "come in" I carefully opened the door and saw a girl on those weird PADD things.

"Hi you must be our new room mate I'm Marrie Clowe and the one watching videos is Clara Oswald you mind having the bottom bunk?" I jumped as I didn't see Marrie pop out from her bed and thought she was a ghost for a second.

"Y-yeah I'm Adelia Kallisto its nice to meet you guys"

"Hey you just got here right so did you meet the receptionist?" Clara looked up from her PADD it was hen I noticed she had bright blue eyes no irises just all blue.

"Yeah did he hug you guys too?"

"Yes it was so awkward I think he must be from Jupiter" Marrie climbed off her bed and sat on the one I guessed was mine.

"Come sit" she patted the bed so I walked over put down my bags and sat next to her.

"Wait people can come from Jupiter?" Now I was confused again but I'm guessing its gonna be like that for awhile.

Right after I said that Clara immediately put down the PADD and sat up.

"What you DIDN"T know people come from Jupiter" She looked at me shocked.

"No I guess I'm not really up to date with everything" When I said that Marrie gasped like she just had a realisation.

"OMG you're the girl that was frozen in time right?" She looked really excited.

"Yeah" I guess I should be over that but whenever I hear people refer to me like that it gets a little annoying.

"Hey don't worry we'll teach you ANYTHING you need to know, I mean what are roommates for?" Clara joined us on the bed and placed a reassuring hand on my shoulder.

"Thanks, you know I think this s gonna be really fun but can you tell me more about people from Jupiter?"

"Actually its pretty late how about tomorrow I'm pretty knackered" I agreed with her it was a big day tomorrow so we all needed our sleep but I was excited for what tomorrow would bring.
