I'M SO SORRY!!!

Ash Pov

I watch over Johnny as he is practicing on the piano. He still needed to practice his song for the next performance. I've already practiced, and I told Ms. Crawly to take a break. So that I can supervise my boyfriend. Yes, we are together. Johnny and I have been together for a little over two months now. Everyone has been happy that we finally got together. Mike even acted like he liked us for a moment.

I listened from the doorway, as Johnny glided his fingered over the keys as if he was a professional pianist. In fact, anyone could walk by and think he had been playing the piano his entire life. Johnny was almost done with the song, when he abruptly hit several of the wrong keys.

"Is everything okay Johnny?"I asked while turning to look at my boyfriend. He was holding his left arm and had a pained expression. I moved to grab his arm as well, but he jerked back before I could make it.

"Yeah. Everything's good,"Johnny said. He looked at me while trying to fake a smile. Something I know too well. "I need to go, you don't mind telling Ms. Crawly that I have to end practice early, right?"

"Of course I don't mind,"I exclaimed.

"Thanks Ash,"Johnny said as he grabbed his black leather jacket. I saw that he had put it on slowly and winced while pulling it over his left arm. Johnny started walking out of the practice room before I spoke.

"You're not going to walk me home today?"I asked with a fake pout.

"Well I uh.."Johnny stuttered.

"I'm just kidding,"I said while chuckling. "I'll be fine walking home myself. I love you."

"I love you too Ash,"Johnny said as he bent over to give me a kiss on my forehead. "I'll see you tomorrow." With that being the last thing he said to me, he left. Johnny has been acting a little strange lately. I intend to find out why.

Next Day

I came up with a plan to find out what Johnny is hiding. It's not the best plan, or fully figured out yet, but I'm sure it'll work.

     Johnny and I were walking to the theatre together, like we normally do in the morning. I was leaning against Johnny's leg. At the same time holding onto Johnny's hand for support, in case I fall.

     "Johnny?"I asked.

     "Yes Ash." He responded.

     "Do you want to come over to my house after rehearsals? So we could hang out,"I asked.

     "Yeah. I guess that's fine,"he said as he righted his grip on my hand a little tighter.

     "Good,"I whispered as we walked into the theatre. I went to my practice room to rehearse my song another time. While Johnny walked up the stairs to practice his song on the piano. Now I just have to wait until later to find out what's up with Johnny.

     "Ash?"Rosita asked walking into the room. "Do you know why Johnny has been acting a little strange lately?"

     "You've noticed too?"I asked as she nodded her head with concern. "Don't worry about it Rosita. I'll find out what's wrong."
