Ash Pov
     "Ash let me in!" Lance yelled from my door, again. Ever since the show Lance has been trying to win me back. Every night he'll come banging on my door, begging me to give him a second chance. Like I would him a second chance after he cheated on me. Especially when he tried to use the excuse that I was never around.

"Ash I'm not leaving until you open this door!"Lance cried. I guess I'm not getting any sleep tonight.

I lay in my bed and at least try to sleep. But all of Lance's beating on the door kept me from sleeping. I gave up on sleeping and decided to work on my new song. I hardly started it anyway. I should be working on it if I can't sleep.

I sit on my bed with my guitar engaged in my song. While Lance is still outside beating up the door.

When he finally leaves the time is 4:15. I have to wake up at 5:30 for practice at the theatre. I put my guitar back in its case and lay on my bed. Without Lance at the door I can actually get some sleep. But I'll still be really tired later.

At the theatre

I yawned as I walked through the doors. I only got about one hour of sleep. Stupid Lance, forcing me to stay awake until 4 am when I have to wake up at 5 am.

I walked straight to one of the glass practice rooms. I closed the door and sat my guitar case down. I yawn while I take my song out of my guitar case. I read over the lyrics.

     "I think I need someone to proofread this,"I whispered, while yawning.

Johnny Pov

      I walked past Ash's practice and saw that she was looking at, what I assume is, her new song.

"I think I need someone to proofread this,"Ash whispered, while yawning. She probably didn't think I heard her speak.

"I'm free if you need help with your song,"I wondered. Ash jumped, and a few of her quills flew out, but she relaxed when she saw that it was only me. 

     "Um...can you read over the lyrics for my new song Johnny?"She asked while yawning.

     "Of course I'll read over it. But why are you yawning so much?"I asked while walking next to her.

     "Oh it's nothing. I couldn't sleep, so I just stayed up all night working on my song,"Ash mumbled. She rubbed her eyes while handing me her song.

     "Was Lance hurting your door again?"I asked with concern.

     Ash chuckled,"Yeah it was Lance. He was beating on the door until 4:15 this morning." Ash sat on the floor against the wall. I sat next to her and started reading the lyrics.

     "Why aren't you practicing right now?"Ash asked abruptly.

     "Well I was walking by when you said you needed proofreading. Also, I still need to pick a song for the performance. I thought you might be able to help me decide," I explained to the drowsy Ash.

      "I'll help you decide on your song,"Ash muttered while yawning again.

     "We can worry about my song once I read over yours,"I told her.

     "Okay."

    I read Ash's song from the beginning again, when I felt Ash lean into my side. I tried not to blush, well yes, I have feelings for her. But it's not like she would ever return them. She's my best friend.....I have a crush on my best friend. After 3 minutes of reading over Ash's song, I put it down.

"Ash your song is...,"I said as I noticed that Ash was asleep. She was sleeping into my side. I quietly chuckled. "Your song is amazing Ash, just like you."
