     "I have about five minutes before Johnny gets here,"I whispered to myself. Johnny and I are going out for coffee, but as friends.(sure) I do have these feelings for my friend, but I try to ignore them. I don't want to mess our friendship up.

     My thoughts drifted back to Lance when I saw the last photo of us together on the floor. It brought back memories of all his negativity. And the abuse. Not physical abuse, but emotionally. Just because it's emotional, doesn't mean it's not abuse.

But then I thought back to Johnny. How he said that I am better off without Lance. That Lance is stupid anyway. I started to sing while I finished getting ready.

I fixed my quills and looked in the mirror. I looked at my face, and decided to not put any makeup on. Lance told me that I always needed makeup and would always force me to buy and wear more.

I walked back to where the picture of me and Lance laid on the floor. I picked it up off the ground. I ripped it into two pieces. I threw each piece to a different side of the room. I then walked to the full length mirror to check myself out.

Lance always told me that voice was loud and unruly. He said he was doing what was best for me. Which is why he made me back up the singer in our group. Rethinking back on all this made me realize how much I appreciate that Moon picked me, and me alone. Instead of Me and Lance.

I walked to the living room after checking my outfit. I put my soul into the last few parts of the song, while I sat myself down on the couch.

     Then there was a knock at the door. Johnny's here. I opened up the door, and what do you know, Johnny is standing in the doorway.

     "You ready to go?"Johnny asked me.

     "Yes,"I responded. I locked my door, and followed Johnny to his truck.
