Short...but EH. You'll thank me later.

Melissa's POV:
I gaped at the bouquet of half wilted flowers and the devilishly handsome dude. What the hell? I had specifically told him to stay away from me!
"I thought I told you stay away from me. Alex." I put emphasis on his name to make myself sound more threatening.
"Awwe...is that how you treat your future boyfriend?" Alex cooed. I furrowed my eyebrows in confusion. Future boyfriend?
"Future boyfriend? What do you mean future boyfriend?" I asked.
"Well, you see, dear Melissa, you have two choices. You either refuse to be my girlfriend and watch your little friend, Jordan get beaten up or you agree to my girlfriend and everyone will be safe. You choose." He said, smirking as he dumped the bouquet of flowers into the bin.
Why that bastard! I took a deep breath to calm myself. I could be his girlfriend, tell Jordan why and then everything will be good. For some damn reason, I really didn't want Jordan to know I was "dating" this dude. I discreetly reached for my phone that I had hidden under my pillow.
"Ahh...if you tell Jordan why you're agreeing to be my girlfriend, he will be beaten up, even if your my girlfriend." He said.
I really wanted to beat the shit out of him. Then my eyes widened as I realised why he was doing this.
"You want to win the best couple competition." I said. It would be easy. The whole school knows about our relationship, just not about him cheating on me. The whole school practically lived on "Alessa" as they called it. I tapped on Jordan's contact name as I quickly glanced down at my phone's screen.
"Hmmm...seems like you actually grew a brain." He said. I scoffed. What a hypocrite.
"Psh. Yeah right. I've always had one, unlike you." I said. His eyes flashed with anger. I grinned as I began to type the message to Jordan. I had completely memorised the placement of the keys on the keyboard so I could type without my eyes on the screen. When I finished, I looked down while throwing insults at Alex. Once I confirmed there were no typos, I sent it, keeping my on a fuming Alex.
"What's wrong? Cat got your tongue?" I asked. Alex's face was red, he looked like he was about to burst. I had to stifle my laugh.
"Y-you little bitch!" He roared. Then he did something I did not expect. He slapped me. I held my right cheek, hissing in pain. What the fuck?
"What the fuck was that for?" I asked. Alex sneered at me.
"It's your punishment for being a little bitch." He said, sneering at me again.
I growled and looked down at my phone.
Me: Alex is trying to get me to date him otherwise you'll get beaten up. Be careful.
Jordan: I'm in the nurses' office. They already beat me up. Don't date him. Please. You deserve to be happy.
I growled in anger again.
"You bloody liar!" I screeched. Alex flinched.
"You bloody liar! No one's safe! He's hurt! You liar! Liar! Liar! Liar! LAIR!" I screamed.
"What? How? H-how did you know?" He stuttered, fear flashing in his eyes. I held up my phone, glaring at him. I ripped of the IV drip that was supposed to feed me chemicals to improve my immune system. I hissed as the needle slid out of my flesh. I jumped out of the bed and stormed towards Alex.
