Melissa's P.O.VI stared at him, my mouth gaping. I haven't seen him in ages. By ages, I mean legitimately six days.
"Marcus!" I yelled, loud enough for him to hear. I walked over to the driver's door and tapped on the window. Marcus rolled down the window and scrunched his nose up at me. I frowned.
"Not happy to see me?" I asked.
"No. Not after what you did to Jordan." Marcus spat.
"He told you everything?" I asked. I rubbed my arms uncomfortably.
"Yeah. And it's disgusting." Marcus scoffed. I felt hurt. My eyes began to water and I blinked furiously, trying to stop them.
"I know. I'm such a bitch. And a slut. I should've been there for Charlie. I didn't help him at all when his girlfriend died in the car accident. I'm..god I'm such a bitch." I said, my voice shaking. The tears were falling now, splattering all over my clothes. I brought my hands up to wipe them away, but I only rubbed my mascara and eyeliner all over the place.
"Wait, hold on car accident?" Marcus asked, confusion plastered all over his face.
"Yeah. Charlie's girlfriend, L-Lilly died in a car accident. And, I-I didn't help him get over her d-death." I hiccupped.
"Wait, this doesn't make sense. Hop in. We need to talk." Marcus said. I nodded, sniffling as I walked over to the passenger side and clambered in. I strapped myself in and sniffed loudly, earning a look of disgust. I shrugged.
Marcus started to drive out of the car park.
"Why were you in the hospital car park?" I asked.
"I was going to visit you and confront you about what you did to Charlie's girlfriend and Jordan." Marcus said. I frowned.
"What did I do to Lilly? I never did anything to her." I said.
"Well, that's why I'm taking you somewhere so we can talk. Something isn't right." Marcus replied.
"Okay..." I sighed. What did Marcus mean when he said something wasn't right? This was messing with my brain. I rubbed my temples and closed my eyes.
"..lissa...Melissa!" Marcus' voice snapped me out of my nap. I jolted up, bumping Marcus's head with mine.
"Ouch!"
"Ow!"
"Sorry." I sheepishly smiled. Marcus groaned and rubbed his head.
"You have some drool." He pointed out. He took his thumb and swiped it across the corner of my lips. I blushed furiously as his thumb touched my lips.
"Gross." Marcus shuddered and wiped his thumb on his pants. I rolled my eyes.
"Oh shut up you big baby." I scoffed.
"Baby? I like that." Marcus said, wiggling his eyebrows. I rolled my eyes and suppressed a smile.
"Come on. Let's go to wherever the hell you're taking me." I said. I clambered out of the car and in front of me was a forest. Huh, this seems so cliché.
"You're not going to kill me here are you?" I asked. Marcus laughed and shook his head.
"I'm taking you to my secret spot." Marcus winked and grabbed my arm. He started to drag me into the forest and I stumbled behind him.
Branches slapped against my thighs and my arms, leaving small red marks. I hissed whenever a branch hit my face and Marcus just laughed.
"I'm starting to think this is your twisted way of getting revenge on me for being a bitch to your brother." I said, scowling.
