Let my mind think in an alternate reality.
Anywhere is better than here
Even if it's only in

I wish this was only a story
Something I could control
With a happy ending once in a while.
Just once
I live in a reality no author would ever want
Where it seems there will never be a
Happy ending.
At least not for me
Not now
Maybe never.
