Myron and I headed straight for the football ground after Genevieve had spoken to us and we had been dawned with realization. This was it. This was the making, or breaking point. Kade Manning was the very last kid from Gracelane that Evan had not mentioned yet. But this was it. This was why he had sent us to Genevieve – so that we know that we must go to the game today. He must have known, that Myron and I would have spent the day looking for Allie. He must have known, that everyone would be at the game and so it would be the perfect opportunity for us to look for Allie. He knew so he led us in the right way. That creature had led us in the right way – to the game today. He knew we would figure it out that this was the last one, because it was Kade – the last kid left from Gracelane.

The only sound that dawned upon us was the slapping of our sneakers against the concrete ground of the sidewalk. No words were exchanged, no feelings spilt. We had one objective, and one objective only – to find out the mystery of Evan's Point.

As we approached the ground, loud echoing sounds filled my ears and it was evident that the whole town was there and the game was starting soon. Myron and I ran forwards and stepped through the gates leading into the ground. Around the football field lay rows and rows of bleachers where the crowd stood, creating a deafening racket.

"Avery, Myron," a voice exclaimed. "I'm so glad you two could make it."

We spun around to see Macy stood behind us, a small smile on her face.

"Hi," I greeted her, as did Myron.

"You guys go sit on the bleachers," she told us. "Evan will be here soon."

"Why should we go to the bleachers then?" Myron asked, questioning her commands. He was right. Surely Evan wouldn't see us if we were sat in the large crowd and the plan was to actually see him.

"Don't worry," she said in a hushed voice. "I know his plans and I'm just trying to protect you."

"Why?" I asked, stepping forwards as a frown crossed my face. "Why do want to protect us when all you've been doing is being his little messenger and doing things for him?"

"Avery," Myron said in a warning tone, knowing that I was starting to sound a bit rude.

"No it's okay," Macy sighed, shaking her head. "She's right. I am awfully sorry for what Evan is doing but there is nothing I can do to stop him. Nothing can. He wants you to find out and you will. I cannot stop him. He is too powerful with his powers. I'm just here to make sure when it hits, it doesn't hit as hard as it could. You have to trust me. I'm doing everything I possibly can. But he blackmails me too. He makes me do everything I'm doing. I cannot say no to him otherwise who knows what he is capable of, especially with his magical powers."

With that, she left, leaving Myron and I standing there. My mind clogged with her words, bewildered and hindered speechless.

After a few moments, Myron spoke, "looks like we should head down to the bleachers then."

I nodded in agreement, pursing my lips as I did so. We made our way down to the bleachers, climbing up the stands in search for a space to stand together. We soon found one and sat down.

"And now we wait," I said.

"Now we wait," Myron agreed. The football match started shortly after, with Genevieve's cheerleading squad performing and Kade kicking off. We watched the boys run up and down the pitch, the ball clutched tightly in their grasps. Kade was quarterback and made most of the goals and was evidently the best player of the team which was expected since he had been captain and quarterback back at Gracelane and had also gained a scholarship to a college for football.
