"TIME FOR PYRAMID!!" Miss Abby
yells. We all run in and the moms
aren't too far behind us. "Let's get to
the pyramid." Miss Abby says "On the
bottom we have..... Paige and Brooke.
You're on probation, not much to say
there. Next, Nia. You mess up your
dance, you go there. Next, Kendall. You
got 5th place in your solo, I expect
more from you. Now to the middle.
Kenzie! You did a great job in your duet
with Maddie, I saw a lot of sickled feet
though! Next, Chloe you did good in
your solo, but 2nd isn't good enough.
And on the top of the Pyramid
is..Maddie!"
I beamed. I love being on the top
even though people think it's unfair, I
work hard and I like the results.
"Great job Maddie! Girls, go into the
den and start warming up, moms come
with me for costumes" Miss Abby said.
As I walked into the den, everyone
followed me saying, "great job!" And
"you were so good!" I smiled and
thanked everyone. "Maddie time for
your solo practice!" Miss Abby yelled.
I ran in and got to work.

"Maddie! Time for school!" my mom
yells up to me to my room. "Coming"
I say as I finish my make up and
straightening my hair. I grab my
backpack and slide on my uggs as I run
outside to the bus.
When I get in the bus people says
"Hi maddie, you look pretty today" and
I say thank you. I sit down to my best
friend Ella and she whispers to me
about how this girl Lila has her pants
on backwards. I laugh and pull out my
phone. Ella and I take a selfie and post
it on Instagram. Once we get to school,
I head over to my locker. I packed
everything in my backpack into my
locker and got my books and binders
for the day. Then I checked my makeup
and started walking down the hallway
to class.
