MCSM - Lukas x Reader

Day 2

"y/n? You there?" Lukas asked me from outside. I had built my own (fabulous) make-shift house to stay before I had to come home. "Yeah. I'm here," I answered. Lukas was planning to show me around, since I was visiting here. After about an hour, he said to himself, "Is it still here? y/n, follow me!" He rushed off and I ran after him, slowly losing breath. He found a small cave an his face lit up. "What is this cave for?!" I asked. Did he SERIOUSLY make me run here for some CAVE?! I thought.

"This is NO ordinary cave. This is the cave that we fled to after..." he stopped, looking less happy. "After what?" I asked. "You know how we're the NEW Order of the Stone, and there was an old one?" he said.

"Yeah."

"Two of them... Magnus and Ellegaard... they offered Jesse their armor so he could use the Formidi-Bomb and blow up the Witherstorm. Jesse didn't want to make a decision, but he chose Ellie's. And as we were fighting the Witherstorm, one of it's tentacles knocked her into a tree... and she died. This is the cave we went to after her death," he explained.

"Really?" I asked slowly. "Yeah... and Jesse let me lave to find my friends- well, former friends. Heh... even after I saved them they kicked me out. Just goes to show... hmm, wonder if they're still in Sky City's prison," he said. "Interesting..." I said quietly. "Hey, maybe sometime I could show you the Far Lands... but the whole gang would have to come. They're a bit dangerous," he said to me. "That's cool," I replied.

A Couple Days Later

"y/n? Are you sure you want to go to the Far Lands?" Jesse asked me. "Yeah, I'm sure!" I said excitedly. "I blame you for this, Ivor," said the redhead. What was her name again...? "y/n, I just remembered, you don't know everyone, do you?" Lukas asked. I shook my head. "Well, you already know me, Jess, and Ivor-"he started. "I thought I asked you not to call me Jess," Jesse said. "Right, right. Anyways, redhead here is Petra (she waved at me with a smile), goggles is Olivia (she shook my hand), and the big guy is Axel (he greeted me with a hug)," Lukas introduced everyone to me. And we were on our way to the Far Lands.

"Are we there yet?" was the question I asked multiple times. Jesse was getting agitated. "Now do you know how I felt when you asked that the first time you went to the Far Lands?" Ivor asked him with a smirk. Jesse rolled his eyes and laughed. The gang really was fun to hang out with.

When we finally got there, I let my eyes fall onto the enormous wall of stone, as if it was all carved out. "It's really something, isn't it?" Lukas asked me, then put his arm around me. My eyes widened just a little. "Yeah. It's... something. It's just the word for it. It's natural, yet unnatural... I love it. It's beautiful," I said quietly. "Couldn't have said it better myself," said Ivor, and gave me a pat on the back. I smiled proudly.

After a long tour of the far lands, we went back. The trip itself had taken a few days, and the tour didn't help. (speaking of which, the next chapter will be on day 8) When we got back, the town, everything, was empty. Just empty. I heard someone gasp. I looked around. I found a man in the rubble of everything. "The order of the stone... they're back?" he asked. "Yeah... I'm with them. What happened here?" I asked. "Something... something horrid attacked," he explained. By now the rest of the gang had arrived, except for Jesse. "What did it look like?" Olivia asked. "It... kinda shapeshifted..." he said. Jesse finally got to the scene after looking around everywhere. His face turned pale. He seemed to recognize the man. "Reuben?" he asked (if u didn't play/watch ep. 8, srry for spoilers) "Uh, yeah, it's me. Still big fan of your work," Reuben said. "Well, let's find this thing", Jesse said.
