The Search

Lukas' POV

"Y/N! WHERE ARE YOU?!" I shouted outside. I didn't hear her. We ran out in the woods. "Jeez, Lukas. What did you do?" Axel asked as we split up. "I didn't do anything! I think she got into some kind of argument with Bf/n. I had nothing to do with this!" I answered. "How do you know what you did and didn't do?" he asked. "Uhh, oh. I guess you're right about that..." I said slowly. "Oh, God. So you have no idea what you had to do with this and what you didn't," Axel said slowly. I sighed. I felt like crying. The girl I loved ran away from me. And I had no idea whether it was my fault or not...

Your POV

I started walking through the woods, wondering where I was and how to get back. All of a sudden, I heard a low growl. I looked in the direction. I saw two beady eyes. A bear. I started wlaking away slowly. It walked towards me. I walked faster. It walked faster. I started running. At first I didn't care if it was after me. Then I felt a slash across my back. I gasped in fear and ran faster. I looked back. I saw it ever so slightly in the back. I fell to the ground and pretended to be dead. I didn't make a sound. The bear sniffed me, figured I was dead, and walked away. Once I was sure it was gone, I sighed and got up. I heard shouting. People shouting my name. They found me. I walked towards the noise to Axel and Lukas. I ran up to them and hugged them. "Y/n! I was so worried about you! I thought you might've died!" Lukas said. He started to cry.

"I was worried about you, too. I'm glad you found me. Where are the others?" I asked. "They're still looking. Come on, let's go find them," Axel said. After we found the others, we walked back to Payton and Georgia. "What happened to you guys?! We were looking all over the monitors, but we couldn't find you!" Are you guys okay?!" Georgia sounded extremely worried. Payton looked beyond worried, seeing as she fainted when she saw us. She had a relieved look on her face. Georgia poked her awake. She shot up. "WHAT WERE YOU GUYS THINKING?!" she practically shouted. "It's not only our job to watch you, but the oath specifically said, 'If the people in question arrive in the world of overlookers (idek), it is your sworn duty to protect them'. G, did you not tell them that?!" she screamed. Georgia looked scared. Payton's expression changed and she hugged Georgia. "Sorry about that..."

"So, are you guys about ready to leave?" Georgia asked us. We nodded. "Hey, you guys could come with us!" Jesse suggested. The two overlookers' eyes widened. "No... no, we can't. We have to stay here to be able to do our job. But before you guys go, there's something I want to show you..." Payton said quietly. She showed us to a temple.

"This is where we work," Georgia said. There were tons of other people. Harper walked over to two guys who were checking over Crown Mesa. "Wow... so you really do look over all the worlds..." petra said, amazed. "Georgia? Payton? What are the people you're supposed to be watching doing here?" a guy with a physique similar to Aiden's asked. "Charles, we've been over this. They wanted to help CJ, their friend. Remember Poli? he was watching the world that CJ came from... long story short, he was sick, he came here, now he's better. I just wanted to show the Order of the Stone our workplace before they leave," Payton explained. Charles sighed. He held out his hand. "Nice to meet you guys," he said. "So, what world do you look over?" I asked. "I look over Sky City. The people... they're doing well. Isa and Milo are getting along, the Blaze Rods have, how to say, split up into their own little worlds. Though they are still in contact," Charles explained.

"Anyways, that's not quite what we wanted to show you guys. Come on," Georgia said excitedly, and pulled us towards her and Payton's workplace. "There's more to this area than you know..." she said, and pressed a few buttons. A doorway opened up.

"You know how people say that depending on what choices you make, alternate universes with different outcomes are made?" Payton asked. "Yeah..." we answered. "Well... here it is."

BACK FROM MY WRITING HIATUS!!! How were you guys doing before I arrived? Miserable, I know. I'm too fab for you guys to not have missed me (jk i dun care if u missed this book or not). WE ARE NEARING THE EEEEEEND
