"Are you sure it's okay to approach this beast?" William Weasley asked looking skeptically at the dragon before the group.

Disliking the name William, he went by the name of Bill. Bill was a Curse Breaker and long with other witches and wizards who were also beginner Curse Breakers, they were taking a tour of the extensive tunnels underneath Gringotts.  A Curse Breaker went around to ancient wizard locations to collect gold and money for Gringotts.  Before Bill could go work out in the field however, he had to take a tour of Gringotts and all the secrets that were within.  The dragon before him was in part of the deepest vaults for pureblood wizards.

"Yeah sure, they're trained well enough." A short Goblin, Gornuk, grumbled to Bill, handing him a noise maker.

Taking the noise maker, Bill grimaced, stepping out toward the dragon taking in its appearance.  What shocked Bill the most was how many scars and slashes endured.

"Uh, why is this dragon so scarred up?" Bill asked.

"You ask a lot of questions." The older Goblin eyed Bill with his beady eyes, "It doesn't matter as long as the dragon does its job." He said waddling away from Bill to check on the Lestrange vault.

"Hope you don't plan to rob the bank." A girl whispered into Bill's ear.

Bill looked to his left to see a short black haired girl smirking at him, "Huh?" he asked.

"Seriously, don't keep asking questions." She said. "That's how they distinguished the snoopers.  Plus it's suicide" she shrugged

Astonished by this girl's forwardness, Bill stared at her, "And you would know that because?"

The girl frowned and pursed her lips, "I just know."

Bill opened his mouth again, but was cut off by the Goblin. "Now since some of you will be dropping of gold and valuables in the vaults you'll need to know how to pass the creatures you find down in these parts." Gornuk explained gruffly.  "To pass this dragon and all the other dragons you find a noisemaker and shake it."

Before Gornuk shook the small noisemaker, the white dragon stirred.  Its great head turning toward the incoming group growling with its teeth barred.  Bill stared at the great dragon before him, lashing out at the group Gornuk clanged the noisemaker and before Bill's eyes a long whip appeared.  Bill stiffened as he closed his eyes grimacing as Gornuk snarled at the dragon, he took the whip and cracked it on to the dragon's hide resulting in the dragon's cry of pain.  Many gasps erupted from the group some shocked while others screamed.

"It's trained to expect pain, whenever it hears these noisemakers." Gornuk said as he led the group past the Ukrainian Ironbelly.

Still stunned, Bill reluctantly followed the small goblin away from the whining dragon as it began to lick its wounds.  Sensing she was being watched, the dragon whipped its head around and growled at Bill slowly approaching him.

Frowning Bill whispered, "I am so sorry."

Pausing in her tracks, the dragon stopped.  After many years underground, Gwen's eyesight had been mostly lost, so to make up for it her hearing increased even more.  Bill blinked shocked at the dragon's action, for a second Bill locked eyes with the dragon's milky red eyes, as if there was an understanding.  The moment soon ended as the dragon exhaled a huge flame.

Suddenly pulled out of the line of fire, Bill stood shocked.  "Bill! Bill!  William!" the girl beside him called gently pulling him to catch up to the group.
