Camila pov

I hadn't even gotten to the award show and I already knew that something awkward was going to happen.

I was prrsenting an award and the girls, Fifth Harmony were nominated for an award and they were performing. I would probably see them which I already knew was gonna be awkward. I messaged them and tried to talk to them for such a long time but they obviously just don't want to talk to me.

I love the girls and I wish we could be friends but they don't want that. It hurts me a lot and I don't think they realize that.

"And now, presenting the biggest girl band in the world... Fifth Harmony!" Cheers errupted from the entire stadium. I stood, clapped and shouted as well along with Ashlee. The lights brightened on the stage and the four outlines of Dinah, Normani, Ally and Lauren stood still on stage. They were all wearing long black dresses.

The piano started playing and I already knew what song it was. I always liked this song...

Why do we say goodbye
When there's no good in it at all?
My eyes just won't keep dry
Every tear is a waterfall
I'm holding on
To all the memories I can recall
Now I cherish every moment
Big or small

Now that you're gone
I hold on
To all the laughs we shared
And I'll never forget your smile

We've said hello a million times
The hardest thing to do is say goodbye
Goodbye, goodbye, goodbye, goodbye
We've said hello a million times
The hardest thing to do is say goodbye
It's so hard to say goodbye

Not a day comes
That I don't wish you were near
But where ever you are
I'm still holding you right here, here in my heart

I hope and pray
That I'll see you once again
'Til then I'll be looking forward to that day

We've said hello a million times
Hardest thing to do is say goodbye
Goodbye, goodbye, goodbye, goodbye
We've said hello a million times

I hadn't even noticed that I had started crying. The tears fell freely as I gave them a stand ovation. I always loved that song and singing it tonight hurt a bit, because if I was correct with reading between the lines, it seems that that song was directed at me. I may be wrong and may just be being vain but it still hurt none the less.

Ashlee turned to me and hugged me. I hugged her back, still crying a bit.

"Wow," I said, as I stood in front of the crowd about to present an award for best Rock Album. "Tonight has been one amazing night so far don't you think?" The crowd cheered loudly, "I mean the performances have been incredible! Every single one of them. And these awards? Every single person deserves to win because everybody who has been nominated tonight are such amazing artists, but unfortunately only one can win Best Rock Album. And the nominees are..."

After I presented the award and the winmer gave their speech, I went back to sit next to Ashlee and watch the rest of the award show. Unfortunately, Fifth Harmony didn't win their award in their category even though I think they should have.

I hugged Selena one more time and congratulated her again before turning to walk towards the exit. There were people running around and hugging everywhere backstage as I tried to make my way through the crowd. Accidently, I knocked someone, apologized and then carried on walking again only to come face to face with Dinah, Ally, Lauren and Normani.

The all stared at me and I stated back. No one said anything for a while. We just looked at each other, Dinah shooting daggers through her eyes.

"You guys were beautiful tonight," I said, smiling, "Really you were. I loved every moment of it."

"Thanks," Dinah said coldly then pushed passed me, bumping my shoulder, causing me to lose my balance a bit as she passed. My eyes found the floor as I heard more footsteps pass me, leaving me alone. Except I wasn't. I wasn't alone.

One girl was left standing, I could see her long dress slightly touching the floor as she stood there. Slowly, I lifted my eyes until I could see Laurens face.

Lauren just stood there, staring at me. She didn't smile, or laugh, or anything, she just stared at me. I raised my eyebrows, expecting her to walk off like the others. But she didn't. She opened her small purse and pulled out a white envelope with my name on it. Then Lauren stepped forward so that we were only inches apart. She looked at the envelope, then back at me so that she was staring right in my eyes.

"I'm sorry Camila," she handed the envelope to me then walked off. For a few seconds, I only stared at the air in front of me where she had just been standing, not sure if what I just witnessed was real. After realizing that it was real, I turned around to look at Lauren, but she was already walking away, not looking back.

I looked at the envelope in my hands and traced my thumb over my name on the front. Once more, I looked toward the direction Lauren had walked off in. Her dress flowed as she stepped outside and closed the door, blocking me from seeing her anymore.

Then... I opened the envelope and read the letter...
