Not long after, I am finally released. Dad dropped me and Mom off, then took the car somewhere. I shrugged my coat off, then started for the stairs.
"Oh, Honey." My mom spoke. I turned around and faced her. "Stay down here. Lie on the couch." She handed me the remote and threw a light, soft blanket over me. With tears in her eyes, she spoke, "I'll get you food. Do Not Move." She siad the last words sternly. They were cold. I was shocked by them. Within moments, she came back with a cold ham sandwhich. I broke bite sized peices into my mouth, as i usually do. My mother sat in the chair, facing me. Then it hit me. I was so iscolated from my family, my mother hasn't seen my eat a sandwich.. in I think years!
She just watched me eat. Rocking back and forth, she kept humming the tune to I See The Moon.
I remember the lyrics from both when I was younger, and every so often I hear it being sung to Christain.
I see the moon, The moon sees me. The moon sees the somebody I'd like to see.So God bless the moon, and God bless me...Drifting asleep, I felt the plate lift away from my lap. I love my family. Oh, I love them so much. I love you, but I'm not done. I got myself into this.
