My dad stormed up stairs, I was alone. He was crying. "Jude, he began, somebody broke into Jude's room, and shot him." I broke down crying. I didn't need to force the tears. My best friend was dead. He's one. I was jealous. I stayed up in my room until school the next day. People kept giving me and the other guys sympathy looks. It was horrible. They don't need to feel sorry, we should feel sorry that they have to live on a shit of a planet. We acted like it was totally unexpected. It was hard, honestly. Well, what do you expect. Cierra tried avoiding me. I don't want he around any of us.
I went in for a therapy appointment. I saw Aurora and Landon. This time I was alone, and we talked a little. He boyfriend left her after findingbout she was pregnant. Yeah, Id leave too. The thing is, I kinda Luke this girl, but I wouldn't leave her.
"Max?"
I turned my head and saw Ailick.
We sat. He was more patient than me. "I can't believe somebody would just kill him." I whispered. Im not going to breakdown and tell anyone. I can't do that.
"There are some horrible people in this world, Max." he responded.
" He just met so much to me."
Our hour was up.
"thank you for talking."
" thanks for listening." and walked out.
I Got piss drunk. I did. I broke the cabinet door, but I needed to get drunk. Cierra walked in, as I poured my 9th shot of tequila. " where's my parents?" I slurred.
"out back. your not suppose to be alone." she took the bottle, and raced outside. Dumbass. She just left me. I started to laugh.
My parents raced in. "Max!" my mom grabbed my shoulders. "you didnt." she whispered.
"ilivetobesodruumk."
"what?"
" I love to be so drunk." I spat.
" I love to be free of shit."
I was in my room, facing my wall, lying on the floor. I don't like my bed anymore. Cierra came in, and it was then i realized j had only my boxers on. Just lying and doing nothing wasnt sobering me up.
"you could have just let me drink." I snarled at her.
"No. Family doesn't do that."
